Osku Palermaa (born 18 November 1983 in Espoo, Finland) is a Finnish Ten-pin bowler now living in Partille, Sweden. He is a competitor on the European Bowling Tour, World Bowling Tour, and PBA Tour.
Palermaa has 18 professional bowling titles to his name. He has won 13 EBT titles, and 5 PBA Tour titles.
He was the EBT ranking champion for three consecutive years from 2007 to 2009, he also won the rankings 2011. Palermaa was also joint runner up in the 2005 EBT rankings, and runner up in the 2006 EBT rankings. [1]
Osku made his television debut at the 2004 U.S Open, making him the first two-handed bowler to compete in a televised PBA Tour event. He won his first U.S. PBA Tour title at the 2010 Geico Shark Championship, which was part of the PBA World Series of Bowling in Las Vegas, Nevada. [2] Palermaa has since won four more PBA Tour titles, including the 2011 PBA World Championship which made him the first two-handed bowler to win a major. [3]
Palermaa has to date bowled 78 perfect games, including five in PBA Tour events.
Palermaa was captain of the European team for the Weber Cup from 2008 to 2012.
Palermaa won the bronze medal at the World Ranking Masters tournament.
Palermaa won the 2006 AMF World Cup, defeating Norway's Petter Hansen 2 games to 1 in the final. Palermaa averaged over 250 in the qualifying rounds (24 games), bowling 2 perfect games in the process.
Palermaa was voted the 'Bowler Of The Year' by the industry writers, and was also voted 'Bowler Of The Year' in his native Finland, and 'Athlete Of The Year' in his home town, Espoo
In April, Palermaa was invited for the first time to participate in the World Tenpin Masters tournament, held at the Barnsley Metrodome. Palermaa beat South Africa's Guy Caminsky in the first round (464-438), before losing to the 2006 champion, American PBA bowler Chris Barnes in the quarter-final (490-467).
Following this, Palermaa travelled to Turkey for the 4th Istanbul open, and was victorious, defeating fellow two-handed bowler Jason Belmonte from Australia in the single-game final (258-195). This win, his 5th on the European Bowling Tour and his 2nd in 2007, put him on top of the 2007 EBT rankings, narrowly ahead of 3-time EBT ranking champion, Paul Moor from England.
Palermaa participated in the 2007 World Ranking Masters at the Kegel Training Centre, Lake Wales, Florida, U.S., and finished the 24 game qualifier as the number 1 seed, with an average of 241.58. He was then defeated in the quarter-finals by Thomas Gross of Austria 2-0 (196-265, 203-207). Palermaa finished in 5th position.
Palermaa has been voted Finnish 'Bowler of the Year' 2008 - 2009. [3]

Paul Moor, of Kingston-upon-Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England is one of the world's leading ten-pin bowlers. He bowls on the European Bowling Tour (EBT) and has been a member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) for several years.
Stuart Williams is an English professional ten-pin bowler who has won titles in nine countries. He is one of the most active touring players in the sport. He is known to his followers by the nickname "Beef Stu". While in England, Williams, along with store owner and father Dave, ran MCS Bowling, a pro shop at Chester Megabowl. Williams now resides in Pflugerville, Texas, USA. He is a member of the Roto Grip pro staff.
Dominic “Dom” Simon Barrett is one of England's leading ten-pin bowlers. He competes in world events and on the PBA Tour, where he has won ten titles. This total includes three PBA major titles: the PBA World Championship (2013), the U.S. Open (2018) and the Tournament of Champions (2022), which makes him one of nine triple crown winners in PBA history and the first European player to accomplish the feat. He has been the ranking winner on the European Bowling Tour (EBT) in three seasons and is also the only player to have been named as ‘World Bowling Writers’ bowler of the year three consecutive times. He is nicknamed "The Dominator".
Chris Barnes is an American professional bowler and member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA), who currently competes on both the PBA Tour and PBA50 Tour. He has also competed internationally as a member of Team USA.
Jason Belmonte is an Australian professional ten-pin bowler. He plays on the PBA Tour in the United States and in world events. He is known for being one of the first bowlers to gain media attention for using the two-handed approach style to deliver his shot. He has won 31 PBA titles, including a record 15 major championships; he is only one of eight bowlers in PBA tour history to achieve 30 wins, making him the only 30-time winner in PBA Tour history who is not currently a member of the PBA Hall of Fame.
Mika Juhani Koivuniemi is a Finnish professional ten-pin bowler and bowling coach. He competed on the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) tour in the United States, and won bowling titles in 21 different countries during his career. He is a two-time PBA Player of the Year, one of only three players born outside the USA to win that award. Koivuniemi is the second international player and first European ever elected to the PBA Hall of Fame; he was inducted in 2019. He is also a member of the World Bowling Writers Hall of Fame and Finland Bowling Hall of Fame.
The PBA Tour is the major professional tour for ten-pin bowling, operated by the Professional Bowlers Association. Headquartered in Mechanicsville, Virginia, over 3,000 members worldwide make up the PBA. While most of the PBA members are Regional professionals, a small percentage of the bowling membership competes at the national and international level, forming the PBA Tour. Founded in 1958, the PBA Tour has been in continuous operation since the inaugural 1959 season.
Tommy Jones is an American professional bowler currently competing on the PBA Tour. He is a member of the PBA Hall of Fame and the USBC Hall of Fame. He is also an 11-time member of Team USA.
Ryan Jacob "Rhino" Page is a left-handed bowler on the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) Tour, and was the 2008 PBA Rookie of the Year. He is also a former U.S. Amateur champion, winning the event in 2005. A San Diego, California native, Page now resides in Spokane, Washington. Page attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. He helped the Jayhawks win the school's first-ever Intercollegiate Bowling Championship in 2004, and was named the MVP of the championships.
Michael Todd Fagan is an American former professional bowler on the PBA Tour. He has also participated in World Bowling Tour (WBT) and European Bowling Tour (EBT) events, and as a member of Team USA in international competitions. Known for his high backswing, he was given the nickname "King of Swing". He has a high RPM rate, but also has a smooth release, so his style can be classified as either a cranker or a power stroker.

He has won eleven PBA Tour titles overall, including a major title at the 2016 PBA Tournament of Champions. He also owns six EBT titles and one PBA Regional title. He is known for using the two-handed shovel style delivery with a dominant left hand. He uses non-reactive urethane bowling balls almost exclusively. Svensson is a member of the Storm and Vise Grips pro staffs.

Anthony Walter Simonsen is an American professional ten-pin bowler. He has been a member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) since 2014. Simonsen became known in bowling fan circles early in the 2016 season, when he earned the distinction as the youngest player in history to win a PBA major championship. He is now the youngest player in history to own five major PBA Tour titles. He uses the two-handed shovel-style delivery with a dominant right hand. At age 25, Simonsen eclipsed $1 million in career PBA earnings during the 2022 season. Simonsen has also bowled internationally as a multi-year member of Team USA.
