Otto Andrup, Henrik Otto Ludvig Lauritz Andrup (8 October 1883 - 24 August 1953) was a Danish literary historian and cultural administrator. He served as director of the Museum of National History at Frederiksborg Castle from 1931. He is also remembered for rediscovering the original manuscript for Leonora Christine's Jammers Minde .
Andrup was born on 8 October 1883 in Randers, the son of pharmacist Otto William Andrup (1853–1909) and Frederikke Mariane Louise Levring (1855–1902). He matriculated from Randers Latin School. [1]
Andrip started working for the Frederiksborg Museum in 1910. He became a museum inspector in 1010 and the museum's 1st inspector in 1927. In 1931 he was appointed as the museum's director. [1]
Andrup was created a Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog in 1926. He was awarded the Cross of Honour in 1933. He became a 2n-class Commander of the Order of the Dannebrog in 1948. [1]

Frederiksborg Castle is a palatial complex in Hillerød, Denmark. It was built as a royal residence for King Christian IV of Denmark-Norway in the early 17th century, replacing an older castle acquired by Frederick II and becoming the largest Renaissance residence in Scandinavia. On three islets in the Slotssøen, it is adjoined by a large formal garden in the Baroque style.

Vilhelm Theodor Walther was a Danish architect and Royal Building Inspector for Jutland. He was born in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark and died in Aarhus. He was twice awarded the Academy's Neuhausen Prize for excellence in architecture and in 1885, he received the Cross of Honor of the Order of the Dannebrog. Walther completed a considerable amount of restoration work on the cathedral and St Paul's Church in Aarhus and designed a number of churches in the area. Walther died in Aarhus in 1892 of cholera.

Peter Holm was a Danish museum director and curator. Holm is best known for creating The Old Town Museum in Aarhus, Denmark, an open-air 'living' museum on the history of Danish life and architecture with a focus on the changes brought to urban life by the industrialization of the early 20th century and the development of the city through time. Holm worked against established museum organizations to create the first open air museum in Scandinavia and one of the largest open air museums in Europe.
Arnold Krog was a Danish architect, painter and designer who is remembered for his achievements as artistic director of Royal Copenhagen from 1884 to 1916. He revived the company after a period of decline, moving away from the stiff Empire style of previous decades in favour of a more Impressionist style which combined underglaze painting techniques with inspiration from Japanese imagery and European naturalism. He designed the Polar Bear Fountain for the Peace Palace in The Hague. He has also designed furniture and silverware and took up landscape painting after his retirement from the porcelain factory in 1916.

Pernille Merete Sams is a Danish real estate agent, lawyer and former Conservative People's Party politician who was a member of the Folketing from 1987 to 2001. She was the lawyer of the Conservative People's Party and of its membership before gaining election to the Folketing in 1987. Sams established her real estate business in 1998 and focused on it full time after leaving politics in 2001. She has co- presented the TV 2 programme Liebhaverne alongside Jan Fog and is chair of Denmark's independent real estate agents association, the Danish Independent Estate Agents, since its establishment in 2009. Sams was appointed Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog in 1997.
Emil Poulsen was a Danish actor and stage director. He was the leading male actor at the Royal Danish Theatre for thee decades. He was the half brother of actor Olad Poulsen and the father of actors Johannes Poulsen and Adam Poulsen.
