Otto Claussen Iberri (born 10 February 1964) is a Mexican politician from the Institutional Revolutionary Party. From 2009 to 2012 he served as Deputy of the LIX Legislature of the Congress of Sonora. [1] [2] In 2017,he was accused of misappropriating public funds during his time as municipal president of Guaymas,including the diversion of over MXN$322,000 for private security at a residence in Hermosillo. [3]
His father,Enrique Clausen Bustillos,previously served as municipal president of Guaymas while his brother,Enrique Clausen Iberri,is the secretary of health of Sonora. [4]
Cajemé / Kahe'eme,born and baptized JoséMaría Bonifacio Leyba Pérez,was a prominent Yaqui military leader who lived in the Mexican state of Sonora from 1835 to 1887. Kahe'eme (Cajemé) is originally a family clan name,and was also used by Fernando Leyba,the father of JoséMaría Bonifacio Leyba Pérez.

The Mexican Pacific League or LMP by its acronym in Spanish,known officially as Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico for sponsorship reasons,is a professional baseball winter league based in Northwest Mexico. Luis Videgaray Caso is a Mexican politician who served as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs from 2017 to 2018. Previously he was the Secretary of Finance and Public Credit,also in the cabinet of Enrique Peña Nieto,from 2012 to 2016. Prior to Peña Nieto's victory in the elections,Videgaray was General Coordinator of his campaign for the 2012 Mexican presidential election. On July 11,2012,Peña Nieto announced Videgaray as the person in charge of promoting the economic reforms and the government agenda's related topics,and on September 4,he named Videgaray as co-head of the team that set policy direction for the new government that took office on December 1,2012.
Ernesto "El Pato" de Lucas Hopkins is a Mexican politician. He is a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party. He was Federal Deputy during the LXI Legislature of the Mexican Congress under the principle of relative majority for the III Federal Electoral District of Sonora,which comprises the northern part of Hermosillo,the state capital. On 10 December 2012 he was appointed CEO of ProMéxico,the Federal Government body that coordinates strategies to strengthen Mexico’s participation in the international economy;supports the export process of companies established in Mexico and coordinates actions aimed at attracting foreign investment. On 20 April 2013 he was fired from this post,less than five months from taking over at this office,probably making him the first senior officer to be fired by President Enrique Peña Nieto.

Same-sex marriage in Sonora has been legal since 22 October 2021. On 23 September 2021,the Congress of Sonora voted 25–8 to pass a law legalizing same-sex marriage. The legislation was published in the state's official gazette on 21 October,and took effect the following day. Sonora became the 21st Mexican state to open marriage to same-sex couples.
Enrique Alfaro Ramírez is a Mexican politician and the Governor of Jalisco. In 2009,he served as mayor of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga. He mounted his gubernatorial campaign in 2012 under the Movimiento Ciudadano (MC) party,but lost to the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). Alfaro Ramírez decided to run for mayor of Guadalajara that year and won the elections. After serving for three years,he ran for governor again under the MC and was victorious. This victory marked the MC's first gubernatorial win in its history. Within a week of the election results,however,he resigned from the MC and decided to be an independent governor,claiming he was never an active member of the MC.
Federal Highway 15D is the name for toll highways paralleling Federal Highway 15.
