Outworld is the debut studio album by English nu metalcore band Black Coast, released on 19 November 2021. [1]
The album was intended to be funded by a £10,000 IndieGoGo campaign, which reached 11% of its goal before closing. [6]
Lyrical themes expressed across the album deal with vocalist Charlie Hewitt's mental health and addiction problems, [2] notably the song "Addict". [7]

The band promoted the release of the album through a live show with fellow bands Moralslip, Freeza and Mercury. [9]
A 9/10 star rating came from Laviea Thomas of Gigwise, describing the band as "outsiders with one intention and one intention only—to open up this fucking pit." [7] Iain McCallum of HiFiWay also gave the album a positive review, stating that it "got [his] attention and will have yours too." [3] Alasdair Belling of Hysteria Mag rated the album 7, [10] who praised the songwriting and vocal delivery but was less satisfied by its dynamic range.
The album has been compared to the material of Deftones and Architects. [2]

Placebo are a British alternative rock band, formed in London in 1994 by vocalist–guitarist Brian Molko and bassist–guitarist Stefan Olsdal. Drummer Robert Schultzberg joined in late 1994, but left in 1996 shortly after the release of the band's eponymous debut album due to conflicts with Molko, and was replaced the same year by Steve Hewitt. Molko was born in Belgium and Olsdal and Schultzberg in Sweden; remaining members Molko and Olsdal both grew up in Luxembourg before separately relocating to London and are both British citizens.
Big Black was an American punk rock band from Evanston, Illinois, active from 1981 to 1987. Founded by singer and guitarist Steve Albini, the band's initial lineup also included guitarist Santiago Durango and bassist Jeff Pezzati, both of Naked Raygun. Black Gives Way to Blue is the fourth studio album by the American rock band Alice in Chains, released on September 29, 2009, on the 17th anniversary of the release of their second album, Dirt. It is their first record without original lead singer Layne Staley, who died in 2002, and their first album with new vocalist and rhythm guitarist William DuVall sharing vocal duties with lead guitarist/vocalist Jerry Cantrell, who sings lead vocals on most of the songs. The title track is a tribute to Staley featuring Elton John on piano. This is the first Alice in Chains album released on Virgin Records and their first venture away from Columbia, who handled all of their previous releases. The album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, and was certified gold by the RIAA on May 26, 2010, with shipments exceeding 500,000 copies in the U.S. and over 1 million copies sold worldwide. The 1975 are an English pop rock band formed in 2002 in Wilmslow, Cheshire. The band consists of lead vocalist, principal songwriter and guitarist Matty Healy, lead guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald, and drummer and primary producer George Daniel. The name of the band was inspired by a page of scribblings found in Healy's copy of On the Road by Jack Kerouac that was dated "1 June, The 1975".

The band co-produced the EP version of the song with Michael and Robert Coles, while Mike Crossey provided additional production. The album version, produced by Crossey and the band, was released as the lead single on 23 August 2013 by Dirty Hit, Polydor Records and Vagrant Records. Written at the age of 19, Healy said the song represents a love letter to prudish teenage girls.

Mellow Moon is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Alfie Templeman. It was released on 27 May 2022 via Chess Club Records. Templeman co-wrote all fourteen of the tracks on the album and co-produced eight of them. In interviews, Templeman noted the album's sonic diversity, describing it as a mix of R&B, pop, folk, rock and jazz. Regarding the album's title, Templeman explained that "It's my safe space, the “Mellow Moon”. Because sometimes, I feel I’m on a different planet, I go somewhere else. So, I can just melt into this moon and feel free enough for a little while, so I’m inviting people to the Mellow Moon, in a way."
