Cordova High School is a public high school located in Cordova, Tennessee, United States, within unincorporated Shelby County, to the east of the city of Memphis, and is also part of the Memphis-Shelby County Schools district.
The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA), along with the affiliated Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association (TMSAA), is an organization which administers junior and senior high school sporting events in Tennessee. The TSSAA is the only high school athletic organization in the United States to have a five-sport, Olympic-style spring sport championship tournament, known as Spring Fling, for baseball, softball, track and field, team and individual tennis, and soccer. Spring Fling began in Chattanooga in 1993, later moving to Memphis, and then establishing itself in Murfreesboro. The TSSAA was one of the first high school athletic organizations to host a central site for football championships, beginning in 1982.

Overton Park is a large, 342-acre (138 ha) public park in Midtown Memphis, Tennessee. The park grounds contain the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, Memphis Zoo, a 9-hole golf course, the Memphis College of Art, Rainbow Lake, Veterans Plaza, the Greensward, and other features. The Old Forest Arboretum of Overton Park, one of the few remaining old growth forests in Tennessee, is a natural arboretum with labeled trees along trails.
Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts 6–12 (CAPA) is a magnet school located in the Cultural District of Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. CAPA is one of four 6th to 12th grade schools in the Pittsburgh Public Schools. It was formed from a merger between CAPA High School and Rogers CAPA Middle School.
John Overton High School is a public high school located in Oak Hill, Tennessee. It is named after prominent Judge John Overton (1766–1833), advisor to President Andrew Jackson. The school opened in September 1958 and was renovated and expanded in 1995. The school most recently underwent a US$30,000,000.00 renovation, approved for FY 2015–2016, which strategically expanded school classrooms and other spaces. The school has won 14 state championships.
James Lawson High School is a public high school located in Nashville, Tennessee, and is part of the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS). Athletic teams are known as the Lightning and the school colors are baby blue and yellow. James Lawson opened in 2023.
The Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, commonly known as CAPA, is a magnet school in South Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the edge of the Christian Street Historic District. It is a part of the School District of Philadelphia. Students major in one of seven areas: creative writing, instrumental music, visual arts, theater, dance, vocal music, and media, design, television & video (MDTV). Students may also minor after their freshman year as long as they meet the audition requirements. The school is located on South Broad Street, in the former Ridgway Library. Notable alumni include Boyz II Men, Questlove and Black Thought of The Roots and Leslie Odom Jr.

Kirby High School(KHS) is a public high school in the Hickory Hill community of Memphis, Tennessee, United States, and is a part of the Shelby County Schools district. KHS was established in 1980 as part of the Shelby County School System, serving students from grades 7 to 10, subtracting and adding grades until the first graduating class left KHS at the end of the 1982–83 school year. It later became a Memphis City School campus, after Memphis annexed Hickory Hill in 1999.
Eric Solorio Academy High School is a public 4-year high school located in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest side of Chicago, IL. Solorio is part of the Chicago Public Schools district and is managed by the Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL).
Lulah McEwen Hedgeman (1938–1997) was an American musician and educator in Tennessee who taught at Memphis' Overton High School for Creative and Performing Arts. Hedgeman built a concert choir, a chamber group, and a jazz show choir and took her singers to the level of international competition. Her background included a B.A. in Music at Fisk University and a Master's degree from the University of Memphis.
