Patil Group of Educational Institutes (PRPGEI) has built and maintained a reputation of imparting the right mix of education, experience and ethics that form the basis for achieving success in the modern world. "TECHELONS" provide an opportunity to beautiful minds for creativity and innovation to build knowledge based society with multiple opportunities. The event is organised every year with an objective to provide a platform to budding beautiful minds to exhibit the talent, technical skill to enrich their competency, to lead the world in the knowledge based 21st century. College started its technical event called Techelons in Jan 2011.This event was inaugurated by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Dr.Vijay Bhatkar.

Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT), Coimbatore, is a private engineering college started in 1984 under the auspices of the Ramanandha Adigalar Foundation, a charitable educational trust of Sakthi Group. Situated on a sprawling 156-acre campus in the IT corridor of Coimbatore, KCT is an autonomous institution affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). KCT was granted five-year accreditation status in its first cycle of accreditation. Later, in the second cycle, with a CGPA of 3.21 on a 4.0 scale, an "A" grade was awarded, which was valid until December 2, 2021. Sri Venkateswara College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi established in 1961 in New Delhi, India. Vijay Pandurang Bhatkar is an Indian computer scientist, IT leader and educationalist. He is best known as the architect of India's national initiative in supercomputing where he led the development of Param supercomputers. He is a Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and Maharashtra Bhushan awardee. Indian computer magazine Dataquest placed him among the pioneers of India's IT industry. Vasantrao Madhavrao Ghatge was an Indian entrepreneur, business magnate, industrialist and a professor. He was the co-founder of Ghatge Patil Transports along with Jaykumar Patil in the year 1945 based in Kolhapur. Ghatge was widely recognized as the pioneer in the road transport sector for revolutionizing transportation of cargo or goods. He was born in Kolhapur to Radhabai and Madhavrao Ghatge. He was raised in Kolhapur in the 1920s and completed Master of Science in Botany in the year 1938 from Fergusson College of Pune.
