PSA/Stellantis CMP platform, also called Common Modular Platform [2] is a global subcompact platform jointly used and developed by Groupe PSA and state-owned Chinese automaker Dongfeng.

The platform will be used for subcompact and compact car models with internal combustion engine and battery-electric cars (e-CMP).

For larger cars and up, PSA uses its PSA EMP2 platform. [3]

PSA Group French automotive manufacturing corporation

The PSA Group, legally known as Peugeot S.A. was a French multinational automotive manufacturing company which produced automobiles and motorcycles under the Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Vauxhall brands. On 18 December 2019, PSA and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) announced that they had agreed to the terms of a binding $50 billion merger. On 16 July 2020, both companies announced the new name for their merged operations, Stellantis. The deal closed on 16 January 2021.

Citroën Jumpy Motor vehicle

The Citroën Jumpy is a light commercial van jointly developed by Fiat Group and PSA Group, and mainly manufactured by Sevel, a joint venture between the two companies since 1994. The Jumpy was also sold as the Peugeot Expert and Fiat Scudo beginning in 1995.

Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën, formerly Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën Automobile Co., Ltd. (DPCA) from 1992 to 2021, is an equally owned Chinese joint venture between the automobile manufacturers Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Stellantis. Based in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, it manufactures Peugeot and Citroën models for sale in China.

Peugeot 2008 Motor vehicle

The Peugeot 2008 is a subcompact crossover SUV (B-segment) produced by the French automaker Peugeot. Unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and positioned below the 3008, the first 2008 replaced the Peugeot 207 SW, as Peugeot did not release an SW version of its 208.

Sevel S.p.A. is an Italian company which produces light commercial vehicles. It was first established in 1978 and founded by the predecessors of Stellantis. Formerly, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Talbot were also part of the joint venture. Sevel Sud in Italy began manufacturing in 1981. Sevel Nord in France started in 1993. Fiat sold its share of Sevel Nord to PSA in 2012 and re-entered it through the merger of FCA and PSA into Stellantis. A joint venture extension for Sevel Sud was agreed upon by both automakers in February 2019, preceding the merger of both companies into Stellantis.

Dongfeng Motor Corporation Ltd. is a Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer headquartered in Wuhan, Hubei. Founded in 1969, it is currently the third largest of the "Big Four" state-owned car manufacturers of China, namely: SAIC Motor, FAW Group, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and Changan Automobile, with car sales of 5.37 million, 3.50 million, 3.28 million and 2.30 million in 2021 respectively.

The DS 4 is a subcompact executive car, and it is the second model in the luxury DS sub-brand created by Citroën, now an independent brand. Starting in 2021, it is currently in its second generation, which is based on an all-new EMP2 platform shared with the Opel Astra VI and Peugeot 308 III.

SCCS platform Automobile platform

The SCCS platform, also called Small Platform or 199 platform is an automobile platform originally developed by Fiat for subcompact, front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive vehicles. It was first used on the Fiat Grande Punto, which was unveiled in 2005. Developed during the GM-Fiat alliance, the platform was also used for some Opel models including the Opel Corsa D and E. A derivative called the Small Wide platform was introduced in 2012 for applications on larger cars in the compact segment. Usage of the platform continued through the merger of Fiat and Chrysler which created Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), and the merger of FCA and PSA which formed Stellantis.

Aeolus (marque) Chinese automobile company

Aeolus is an automobile marque owned by the Chinese automaker Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company, a division of Dongfeng Motor Group. The brand was launched in July 2009 using the Fengshen name, and was later renamed to Aeolus as the English name, while the Chinese name remained the same.

The EMP2 is a car platform that has been developed by PSA Peugeot Citroën for compact and mid-size cars with front wheel drive or four wheel drive and transverse engine. It replaces the PF2 and PF3 platforms in one combined modular platform, and cost PSA €630 million to develop.

Citroën C-Elysée French compact car

Citroën C-Elysée is a subcompact (B-segment) sedan produced by the French manufacturer Citroën since 2012, introduced at the Paris Motor Show the same year. It is closely related to the Peugeot 301, launched the same year. It was facelifted in November 2016.

The Common Module Family (CMF) is a modular architecture concept jointly developed by car manufacturers Nissan and Renault through their Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance partnership. The concept covers a wide range of vehicle platforms.

Carlos Tavares Portuguese businessman, CEO of automaker Stellantis

Carlos Tavares is a Portuguese businessman, and the chief executive officer (CEO) of Stellantis, the world's sixth largest automaker by sales, formed by the merger of the PSA Group and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. He was formerly the chief operating officer at Renault.

Dongfeng Sokon Automobile known internationally as DFSK Motor, is a joint venture between Dongfeng and Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Co Ltd., formed on June 27th, 2003.

Stellantis N.V. is a multinational automotive manufacturing corporation formed in 2021 on the basis of a 50-50 cross-border merger between the Italian-American conglomerate Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and the French PSA Group. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam.

The FCA Giorgio Platform is an automobile platform made by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles since 2016. Following the merger with Groupe PSA to form Stellantis in 2021, the platform is anticipated to be phased out due to its inability to accommodate either hybrid plug-in or electric power plants, and will be replaced with the newer Giorgio Evo/STLA Large EV platform and debuted Alfa Romeo Giulia.

The Citroën C3 is a crossover-inspired supermini/subcompact hatchback (B-segment) produced by Citroën. Differing from the European C3, the vehicle was announced on 16 September 2021 as a vehicle dedicated for the Indian and South American markets. Avoiding the "crossover SUV" branding, the model has been described by Citroën as a "modern hatchback".
