The Pixies are an American alternative rock band formed in 1986, in Boston, Massachusetts. Until 2013, the band consisted of Black Francis, Joey Santiago, Kim Deal and David Lovering (drums). They disbanded acrimoniously in 1993 but reunited in 2004. After Deal left in 2013, the Pixies hired Kim Shattuck as a touring bassist; she was replaced later that year by Paz Lenchantin, who became a permanent member in 2016.
William Emmanuel Bevan, known by his recording alias Burial, is a British electronic musician from South London. Initially remaining anonymous, Burial became the first artist signed to Kode9's electronic label Hyperdub in 2005. He won acclaim the following year for his self-titled debut album, an influential release in the UK's dubstep scene which showcased a dark, emotive take on UK rave music styles such as UK garage and 2-step; it was named the album of the year by The Wire. Burial's second album, Untrue, was released to further critical acclaim in 2007.

Kelela Mizanekristos born June 4, 1983) is an American singer. She made her debut in the music industry with the release of her 2013 mixtape Cut 4 Me. In 2015, she released Hallucinogen, an EP which deals with the beginning, middle, and end of a relationship in reverse chronological order. Her debut studio album, Take Me Apart, was released in 2017 to critical acclaim. After a nearly 5 year long hiatus, Kelela released her second album, Raven, in February of 2023.
Sophie Xeon, known mononymously as Sophie, was a Scottish music producer, songwriter, and DJ. Sophie's work was known for its brash take on pop music and distinguished by experimental sound design, "sugary" synthesized textures, and incorporation of influences from underground dance styles. It would help pioneer the 2010s hyperpop microgenre.
Courtney Shanade Salter, known professionally as Ari Lennox, is an American R&B singer from Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist to be signed to J. Cole's record label, Dreamville Records. She began gaining recognition after the release of her first EP Pho (2016) on the label. That same year, she made an uncredited guest appearance on J. Cole's song "Change". Lennox's debut studio album Shea Butter Baby followed in 2019.
Carl-Mikael Göran "Micke" Berlander, known professionally as Gud, is a Swedish DJ, music producer and rapper best known as a member of rapper Yung Lean's Stockholm-based group Sad Boys. He began producing at the age of twelve, making psychedelic trance music, which heavily influenced his sonic palette. His production as a part of Sad Boys has been well received.
Steve Thomas Lacy-Moya is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. He gained recognition as the guitarist of the alternative R&B band the Internet. In 2017, he released his self-produced debut EP, Steve Lacy's Demo. Following this, Lacy was featured alongside Frank Ocean on the song "911 / Mr. Lonely" by Tyler, the Creator; and co-wrote songs for artists such as Solange Knowles, Chloe x Halle, and Kendrick Lamar, the latter of whom he worked with on the song "Pride.".

Benjamin Reichwald, known professionally as Bladee, is a Swedish rapper, singer, record producer, designer, and member of the artistic collective Drain Gang. Reichwald has released music through the Stockholm record label Year0001 from his debut mixtape Gluee in 2014 through to his most recent album, Spiderr, in 2022. In addition to his music, Reichwald creates visual art, which frequently appears as cover art for his releases. Reichwald also serves as the creative director for Yung Lean's clothing line Sadboys Gear.
Drain Gang is a Swedish artistic collective, focusing on music and fashion. Consisting of artists Bladee, Ecco2k and Thaiboy Digital, and producers Whitearmor and Yung Sherman, the group rose to one of the top Swedish music collectives in the mid-late 2010s. They are known for their frequent collaborations with fellow Swedish rapper Yung Lean, and producer Gud.
Thanapat Bunleang, better known by his stage name Thaiboy Digital, is a Thai rapper, singer, producer, and fashion designer. Born in Khon Kaen, Thailand, Bunleang moved to Stockholm, Sweden at the age of eight, and is now based in Bangkok. In addition to his solo work, Bunleang is a member of the group Drain Gang.
Zak Arogundade Gaterud, better known by his stage name Ecco2K, is a British-Swedish rapper, disk jockey, singer, designer, model, director and member of Drain Gang from Hornstull, Stockholm. Known for his experimental and innovative songwriting as well as his androgynous vocal style, he has also been celebrated for his directorial and design endeavours at the brand Eytys as well as for his own product line g'LOSS. He is widely known for his collaborations with fellow Swedish artists Bladee, Yung Lean, and Thaiboy Digital
333 is the fourth studio album by Swedish rapper Bladee. It was released on July 16, 2020, by YEAR0001, making it Bladee's second release of 2020, following April's Exeter. 333 is notable among Bladee's discography in featuring no collaborations from fellow Drain Gang members Thaiboy Digital and Ecco2K. The album has been associated with the hyperpop microgenre that rose to popularity in 2020, with one writer describing it as "hyperpop-adjacent".
Ash Blue Gutierrez, known professionally as Glaive, is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. After posting a string of hyperpop songs to SoundCloud during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic that earned him a cult following, he signed a record deal with Interscope Records and released his debut extended play, Cypress Grove, in 2020. His debut album, I Care So Much That I Don't Care at All, was released on July 14, 2023.
Crest is a collaborative studio album from Swedish musicians Bladee and Ecco2K. It was released on 17 March 2022 via Year0001, as a follow-up to the duo's previous single "Amygdala". The album was "recorded amongst nature", with Bladee, Ecco2K, and producer Whitearmor driving to the edge of Sweden and recording in a cabin not far from where Ingmar Bergman's fantasy epic The Seventh Seal was filmed. Its first single "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" was released in February 2020. The Fader staff considered it the 22nd best album of 2022.
E is the debut solo studio album by Swedish-British singer Ecco2K, released on 27 November 2019 through YEAR0001. A surprise album, it was recorded in Stockholm, Berlin, Los Angeles, London, Falun, and Bangkok. To record it, Ecco2K left his day job as a designer and photo retoucher at Eytys: "I'd been doing music for a few years by then, but I didn't feel like I knew what to say and how to say it until that point".
