RT-MART International Ltd., trading as RT-Mart, is a hypermarket chain in Taiwan. Its headquarters is in Zhongshan District, Taipei. The company opened its 23rd store in 2004. RT-Mart and Auchan created a joint venture, Sun Art Retail Group Ltd.

Taiwanese Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a Taiwan-based union of child and adolescent psychiatrists founded in November 7, 1998 with the mission to promote the healthy development of children, adolescents, and families through advocacy, education, and research, and to assist members to meet the professional requirements of child and adolescent psychiatrists throughout their careers.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Kuai Kuai culture</span>

Kuai Kuai culture is a phenomenon in Taiwan wherein people put snacks of the brand Kuai Kuai (乖乖) next to or on top of machines. People who do this believe that, because the name of the snack—"Kuai Kuai"—stands for "obedient" or "well-behaved," it will make a device function without errors. As such, it can be commonly found in myriad places of work in Taiwanese society. A rigid set of best practices has arisen surrounding the proper use of Kuai Kuai snacks, such as using green bags only, and ensuring the snacks are not expired.

In Taiwan, the North–South divide refers to the uneven distribution of resources in regard to political, wealth, medical, economic development, education and other aspects across the country over past decades that has drawn the social and cultural differences between Northern Taiwan and Southern Taiwan today.

Ugly Beauty World Tour was the fifth concert tour by Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai. It started on December 30, 2019, in Taipei, Taiwan at Taipei Arena and continued in Taiwan only, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, before concluding on January 8, 2023, in Taipei, Taiwan at Taipei Arena. It grossed NT$680 million from 23 shows and 250,000 attendance.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Green line (Taichung Metro)</span> Metro rail line in Taichung, Taiwan

The Green line is a rapid transit line in Taichung as part of Taichung Metro. The line was briefly opened to the public on 16 November 2020, but closed on 22 November due to faulty couplers on the trains. The line officially re-entered service on 25 April 2021, becoming Taiwan's fifth rapid transit system in operation. Two extensions, one heading east to Dakeng and the other reaching south into Changhua, are also planned.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Fujian–Taiwan relationship</span> Relations between Taiwan and the mainland Chinese province of Fujian

The Fujian–Taiwan relations, also known as the Min–Tai relations, refers to the relationship between Fujian, which is located in mainland China, and Taiwan, which is across the Taiwan Strait. Since the average width of the Taiwan Strait is 180 kilometers, Fujian and Taiwan are adjacent, similar in both climate and environment. Although the relationship between Taiwan and Fujian has changed with the development of history, the two places have maintained close relations in terms of personnel, economy, military, culture and other aspects. At present, Taiwan residents are mostly descendants of immigrants from mainland China, of which the southern Fujian ethnic group is the main group, accounting for 73.5% of Taiwan's total population. In terms of culture, language, religion, and customs, Fujian and Taiwan also share similarities.

The 2020–21 Formosa Taishin Dreamers season was the franchise's 4th season, its first season in the P. LEAGUE+ (PLG). The Dreamers are coached by Kyle Julius in his second year as head coach. The Dreamers play their home games at Changhua County Stadium and National Taiwan University of Sport Gymnasium.

The Pxmart Headquarters is a 22-storey, 358 ft (109 m) skyscraper office building completed in 2013 and located in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. The building serves as the corporate headquarters of the Taiwanese supermarket chain PX Mart.

Four Seasons Hotel Taipei is an under-construction skyscraper hotel located in Xinyi Planning District, Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. The hotel held its groundbreaking ceremony on 2 January 2022 and is estimated to be completed by 2025. Upon completion, it will have a height of 180 m (590 ft), comprising 31 floors above ground and 4 below ground. The hotel is constructed by Yuanlih Group and jointly designed by Yabu Pushelberg and Richard Rogers.
