V S Raghavan was an Indian actor, who has acted both in Tamil films as well as television. He started his career as a dramatist and stage actor and went on to act as a character actor in films, starting with Vairamali (1954) and over 1000 films in all. He has also acted in numerous television series. He died on 24 January 2015.

Pulavar Pulamaipithan was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film Kudiyirundha Koyil in 1968. He briefly served as the presidium chairman of AIADMK from 2002 to 2003, when he resigned citing ill-health.
Endrendrum Punnagai is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy drama film written and directed by I. Ahmed starring Jiiva, Vinay Rai, Trisha, Andrea Jeremiah, Santhanam and Nassar. The film has music by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography by R. Madhi. The film was launched officially in Chennai on 29 June 2012. Upon its release on 20 December 2013, the film met with positive reviews from critics and became a commercial success.
Shankar Guru is a 1978 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film directed by V. Somashekhar, written by Chi. Udayashankar and produced by Parvathamma Rajkumar under the banner of Dakshayini Combines. Mohana Punnagai is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language romance film written and directed by Sridhar. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Geetha, Jayabharathi, Padmapriya, Anuradha and Anandhi. It was released on 14 January 1981. The film was an average grosser in Tamil Nadu, but performed better in Sri Lanka.

Arunachalam. Sakunthala is an Indian actress. She has filled roles as a Heroine, Item number Dancer, and Villainess in over 600 Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films. The first movie in which she performed as an actress was CID Shankar, following which she was referred to as "C. I. D. Sakunthala". After that, Sakunthala became more popular. It was a Tamil thriller which released on 1 May 1970. Directed by R Sundaram. In the movie 'Thavaputhalvan', she played a ruthless villainous role revengeful on Sivaji Ganesan that film praised by the fans.
