The song topped the charts in the Republic of Ireland, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Although the music video and radio edit of the song featured a remixed, clean version of the song, the original, explicit lyrics were featured on different versions of the track on the CD single.
"Dreamer" is a song by Italian house group Livin' Joy, written and recorded by Janice Robinson and produced by brothers Paolo and Gianni Visnadi. Originally released in August 1994, it was re-released in 1995 by MCA and topped the UK Singles Chart at the number one spot that May, ending 1995 as the UK's 40th-biggest-selling single of 1995. In the United States, it went to number-one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. It was a sleeper hit on pop radio, but finally managed to peak at number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 75 on the Cash Box Top 100.
"Life" (known as "Life (Everybody Needs Somebody to Love)" in the US) is a song by Trinidadian-German Eurodance artist Haddaway. Written and produced by Dee Dee Halligan (Tony Hendrik) and Junior Torello (Karin Hartmann-Eisenblätter), the song was released in July 1993 by Coconut Records as the second single from Haddaway's debut album, The Album (1993), and the follow-up to his successful debut single, "What Is Love". The song peaked at number one in Finland, Israel, Spain and Sweden, as well as on the RPM Dance chart and the Eurochart Hot 100, and was a top-10 hit in at least 13 countries. The music video for "Life", partly inspired by the 1927 film Metropolis, was directed by Angel Gracia and filmed in Frankfurt, Germany. By March 1994, the single had sold 1.5 million copies worldwide.
"Fly Away" is a song by Trinidadian-German musician Haddaway, released on May 29, 1995 by Scorpio and Polygram as the lead single from his second album, The Drive (1995). It was written by Dee Dee Halligan, Richard W. Palmer-James and Junior Torello, and produced by Halligan and Torello. As with several of Haddaway's singles, another CD maxi was commercialized a few months after the first release. The song was a number-one hit in Finland and a top-10 hit in Denmark, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Switzerland. The music video for "Fly Away" features the singer in a prison cell.
"Anything" is a song recorded by German Eurodance group Culture Beat, released in December 1993 by Dance Pool as the third single from the group's second album, Serenity (1993). Written by Nosie Katzmann with Jay Supreme, Torsten Fenslau and Peter Zweie, the song was very successful on the charts in Europe. It reached the top five in at least nine countries, including Belgium, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. The song's music video was directed by Matt Broadley and filmed in London.

As for other Culture Beat singles, a CD maxi entirely composed of remixes was added among the available media a short time after. The song was a hit in most of the European countries where it was released, and peaked at number five in Germany, its highest position in the various charts. Outside Europe, it peaked at number two on the RPM dance music chart in Canada and number 15 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in the US.
"Surrender Your Love" is a song recorded by British house music group Nightcrawlers, released in May 1995 by Final Vinyl and Arista as the second single from their only album, Lets Push It (1995). Produced by American DJ and record producer MK, the song is co-written by him with John Reid and was released shortly after the previous single, "Push the Feeling On". It became a hit in various countries, such as the UK, Finland, France and the Netherlands, where it reached the top 10. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it peaked at number 19 in June 1995. Outside Europe, the song was successful in Israel, peaking at number eight.
"Baby Baby" is a song by Italian band Corona, released in February 1995 by ZYX Music as the second single from their debut album, The Rhythm of the Night (1995). The song, written by Francesco Bontempi and Antonia Bottari, was originally a hit in 1991 for Italian project Joy & Joyce as "Babe Babe". Both tracks were produced by Bontempi under his Lee Marrow guise. It was very successful on the singles charts around the world, peaking at number-one in Italy, and on the RPM Dance/Urban chart in Canada. In the UK, it peaked at number five for two weeks. Two different music videos were produced for the song.
"Lick It" is a song recorded by American dance music group 20 Fingers featuring singer Roula, released in February 1995 as the second single from their debut album, On the Attack and More (1994). It also appears on 20 Fingers' self-titled second studio album and peaked at number-one in Italy. The song contains explicit lyrics that refer to cunnilingus. A black-and-white music video was also produced to promote the single.
"Love & Devotion" is a song by German Eurodance/pop music project Real McCoy. Originally an album track featured on their second album, Space Invaders (1994), it was later released in Europe in 1995 as a Real McCoy single. For unknown reasons, it was not released in the US by Arista. It was produced in Germany by music producers Juergen Wind and Frank Hassas (Quickmix) under the producer team name Freshline. The single peaked within the top 10 in Australia, Finland, Lithuania and Scotland, and reached number 11 in the UK.
"Feels Like Heaven" is a song by British dance music band Urban Cookie Collective, released on 1 November 1993 by Pulse 8 as the second single from their debut album, High on a Happy Vibe (1994). As the follow-up to "The Key the Secret", it was both written and produced by Rohan Heath, and peaked at number five on the UK Singles Chart, staying in the chart for nine consecutive weeks. The vocals were by Diane Charlemagne, who had provided the vocal for the band's previous hit and their subsequent singles. Its accompanying music video was directed by British director Lindy Heymann, featuring the band performing on the beach.
"The Key the Secret" is the debut single by British group Urban Cookie Collective, released in June 1993 by Pulse 8 from the group's debut album, High on a Happy Vibe (1994). The song features vocals by British singer Diane Charlemagne and peaked at number one in the Netherlands. It was a top 5 hit also in Australia, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, and the UK, where it reached number two. Its music video was directed by Lindy Heymann, featuring the group in an indoor botanical garden.
"Love Rendezvous" is a song by British band M People, released in October 1995 by Deconstruction as the fourth single from their third album, Bizarre Fruit/Bizarre Fruit II (1994). Written by Mike Pickering, Paul Heard and Heather Small, and produced by M People, the song was released on 14 October after the band's world tour. It peaked at number thirty two on the UK Singles Chart and number 59 on the Eurochart Hot 100. The music video for the song was directed by Matthew Amos and filmed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
"Love Is All Around" is a song by Swiss singer-songwriter DJ BoBo, released on 23 January 1995 as the second single from his second album, There Is a Party (1994). It features vocals by singer Christiane Lupp and reached number one on the dance chart in Canada. In Europe, it peaked within the top 10 in Finland and Germany, being certified gold in the latter country.
"There Is a Star" is a song recorded by German Eurodance act Pharao, released in September 1994 by the labels Blow Up and Dance Pool as the second single from the act's debut album, Pharao (1994). Commercially the song was presented with the slogan, "Wise men follow stars...". It scored chart success in Finland, where it peaked at number three, and in Germany, where it peaked at number eight. In Canada, the single reached number seven on the RPM Dance/Urban chart. A music video was also produced to promote the single, directed by Nigel Simpkiss.
"I Wanna B with U" is a song by German Eurodance band Fun Factory, released on 18 April 1995 by various labels as the first single from the band's second album, Fun-Tastic (1995). The song was written by Steve Bender, Toni Cottura and Rodney Hardison. It was a top-10 hit in Canada, while in Europe, it was a top-20 hit in Austria (18), Finland (12) and Germany (11). In the US, "I Wanna B with U" peaked at number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number ten on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. It remains one of their most successful songs and is also their biggest hit in the US. The accompanying music video was directed by Frank Paul Husmann-Labusga, featuring the band performing at a garden party, and produced by Music In Motion GmbH. The track was released with remixes by Mousse T, Sequential One and Simon Harris.
"The First the Last Eternity (Till the End)" is a song by German Eurodance project Snap!, released in February 1995 as the second single from their third studio album, Welcome to Tomorrow (1994). Like on their previous single, "Welcome to Tomorrow (Are You Ready?)", it features vocals by American singer Summer (a.k.a. Paula Brown). Supported by a partially computer generated music video, the song was a chart success in Europe, peaking at number two in both Belgium and the Netherlands, and number three in Austria.
"Close to You" is a song by German Eurodance band Fun Factory, released in March 1994 by various labels as the second single from the band's debut-album, NonStop (1994). The song is written by Bülent Aris, Rainer Kesselbauer and Toni Cottura, while Aris and Cottura produced it. It received positive reviews from music critics, peaking at number-one on the Canadian RPM Dance/Urban chart and at number 22 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Additionally, the single peaked at number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 14 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales chart. In Europe, it reached number 19 in Germany and number 97 in the UK. Its music video was directed by Swedish director Stefan Berg and filmed at a quarry. It was A-listed on Germany's VIVA in June 1994. "Close to You" uses the same melody as the 1993 hit single "Hold On" by German group Loft.
"Magic Carpet Ride" is a song by British duo Mighty Dub Katz, which consisted of DJ, musician and record producer Norman Cook and his former flatmate Gareth Hansome. It was first released in 1995 and is their biggest hit to date, peaking within the top 10 in Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. The song contains a sample of Chakachas' recording "Yo Soy Cubano" from 1970, and Sandee's recording "Notice Me" from 1988. The male vocals are based on Laid Back's "White Horse". A black-and-white music video was shot to accompany the song.
