The South African Premier Division, officially referred to as the DStv Premiership for sponsorship purposes, is the premier men's professional football/soccer league and the highest division in the league system of South Africa, organized since 1996.
The Palau National Stadium(PCC Track & Field Stadium) is a multi-purpose sports stadium in Koror City, Palau. It is used primarily for track and field events as well as many football matches. The stadium can seat 4000 people.
The 2006–07 UEFA Champions League was the 15th season of UEFA's premier European club football tournament, the UEFA Champions League, since it was rebranded from the European Cup, and the 52nd season overall. The final was contested by Milan and Liverpool on 23 May 2007. Beforehand, the match was billed as a repeat of the 2005 final, the only difference being that the 2007 final was to be played at the Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece. Milan won the match 2–1 to claim their seventh European Cup, with both goals coming from Filippo Inzaghi. Dirk Kuyt scored for Liverpool.
The Palau national football team represents Palau in international football. The team is not affiliated with FIFA or a local confederation. The team play their home games at the PCC Track and Field Stadium in the town of Koror City.
The Northern Mariana Islands national football team represents the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in international men's football. The team is controlled by the governing body for football in the Northern Mariana Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association, which is a member of the East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) and since December 2020 a full member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The association is not a member of the world governing body FIFA, although it had applied for membership, and so while the national team is eligible to enter AFC and EAFF-run competitions, they are currently ineligible for global competitions such as the FIFA World Cup. As such, they do not have an official FIFA ranking. However, the team have been consistently ranked as one of the worst teams in the world on the Elo ratings and were in fact, in July 2016 rated as the worst men's senior international team in the world in a ratings system that also includes a number of other non-FIFA teams. Following the completion of the preliminary qualifying round for the 2017 EAFF East Asian Cup the team have won only one official competitive match against international opposition and have a goal difference of −78 in official matches. The team have never qualified for the finals of a major tournament and beyond friendlies and qualifying matches, their only official competition has been in an exhibition tournament in the regional Micronesian Games in 1998, which they won, to date their only tournament success.

The sport of association football in the country of Palau is run by the Palau Soccer Association. The association administers the national football team, as well as the Palau Soccer League.
The 2012 Palau Soccer League was the eighth season of association football competition in Palau, and the first that has been split into two stages: the Spring League and the Fall League. The Spring League was won by Team Bangladesh. The Spring League consisted of five rounds of matches in a round robin group stage, from which the top four qualified for semi-finals, and a play-off final. According to the fixture list, the Fall League was played in the same format, only this time each team played the others twice. This is assumed to be the first season of football since 2010 as the 2011 winner is unknown.

Kramers FC is a Palauan association football club from Koror which plays in the Palau Soccer League, the top level league in Palau in the Spring League 2012. It was founded in at least 2008.
Daewoo Ngatapang was a Palauan association football club founded in 2004 which began competing in the Palau Soccer League, the top level league in Palau, in the inaugural 2004 season, known as the Palau Soccer Association Local League, when they were crowned champions. Whilst they definitely did not compete in the 2006–07 season, they may well have competed in other season where information is missing. However, the next season it is known for certain that they participated is 2010, when they were crowned champions for the seoncd time. Only Team Bangladesh have won more titles.
Mount Everest Nepal was a Palauan association football club which competed in the Palau Soccer League, the top level league in Palau, for the first time in the inaugural season in 2004, when they were runners up, losing 2–0 to Daewoo Ngatpang in the final. It is also known that they competed in the 2006–07 where they finished third, beating Palau Tiger Team 4–2 in the third place play-off. Due to fragmentary records, it is not known how many other seasons they competed, particularly between 2004 and 2006.
Surangel and Sons Company was a Palauan association football club which first competed in the Palau Soccer League, the top level league in Palau, in 2006, when they were crowned champions. They competed in the following season as well, finishing runner up, losing 2–1 to Team Bangladesh in the final, having topped the qualifying group. Due to fragmentary records, it is not known in how many other seasons they competed.
The 2014 Palau Soccer League is the ninth season of association football competition in Palau, and it also marks ten years since the league began in 2004. The 2014 League was competed by five teams from Palau. The league will be played in a round-tobin format, with the top four teams qualifying for the semi-finals. This is the first season of football in Palau since the 2012 Fall season, as that season stretched into 2013. The round robin stage began on April 13, and will end on June 15. The Semi-finals and Final will then take place on June 22 and June 29 respectively.
