Palumbo is an international shipyard group headquartered in Naples with seven shipyards across the Mediterranean (Ancona, Naples, Malta, Savona, Messina, Rijeka and Marseille) operating five brands: ISA Yachts, Columbus Yachts, Mondomarine, [1] Extra Yachts and Palumbo SY dedicated to refit. [2]

In 2011 they launched the largest yacht ever built in Southern Italy. [3]

In 2011, Palumbo improved its presence in Malta by signing a 30-year deal for the operation of Malta Super Yacht Services (MSYS) with the government. [4] In 2020, MSC took over 50 percent of the company. [5]

Maltese Falcon is a full-rigged ship using DynaRig technology, which was built by Perini Navi in Tuzla, Istanbul, and commissioned by her first owner, Tom Perkins. She is one of the world's most complex and largest sailing yachts at 88 m (289 ft), similar in size to the Athena and Eos. The vessel dropped its BVI flag in 2008 and was purchased by Pleon Ltd, which put it to charter use.

Motor Yacht A is a superyacht designed by Philippe Starck and engineered by naval architect Martin Francis. It was built by the Blohm + Voss shipyard at the HDW deepwater facility in Kiel. It was ordered in November 2004, and delivered in 2008 at a rumoured cost of US$300 million. With a length of 119 metres (390 ft) and measuring almost 6,000 tonnes, it is one of the largest motor yachts in the world. It is owned by Russian entrepreneur and industrialist Andrey Melnichenko. To avoid seizure by EU authorities, the yacht has been laid up in the United Arab Emirates since 2022.

Baglietto are superyacht builders of La Spezia, Italy. They build yachts 100 ft and longer. It was founded in 1854.

Malta Dockyard was an important naval base in the Grand Harbour in Malta in the Mediterranean Sea. The infrastructure which is still in operation is now operated by Palumbo Shipyards.

In 2014, Front Street Shipyard began leasing a building in Bucksport, Maine, where production boats are built.

Mondomarine is a shipyard active in ship building and repairing based in Savona, Italy, focused on designing, engineering and building custom made yachts over 40 meters in aluminium alloy and steel.

Sanlorenzo S.p.a. is an Italian shipbuilding specialised in the production of luxury yachts and superyachts, from 24 to 70 meters in length, whose headquarters is based in Ameglia, province of La Spezia. For over 60 years, Sanlorenzo has been operating in the yachting industry by building a limited number of made-to-measure boats a year.
