Paolo Bussetti was an Italian swimmer. [1] He competed in men's 200 metre backstroke and men's 200 metre freestyle events at the 1900 Summer Olympics. [2]
Frederick Claude Vivian Lane was an Australian swimmer who competed at the 1900 Summer Olympics.

Fiji sent a delegation to compete at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from 17 July to 1 August 1976. This was the nation's fifth appearance at a Summer Olympic Games. Their first appearance was at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia. Fiji's delegation consisted of two competitors. Tony Moore who made it to the quarter-finals of the 200m sprint and round 1 in the 100m sprint. After not starting in the 400m sprint, he only made the qualification stage of the long jump. The other athlete was Miriama Tuisorisori-Chambault who competed in the women's pentathlon and long jump. She finished 18th overall in the pentathlon and 27th in qualifying for the long jump. She would not start in the 100m hurdles.
Paolo Salvi was an Italian gymnast who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics and in the 1920 Summer Olympics. He was part of the Italian team, which was able to win the gold medal in the gymnastics men's team, European system event in 1912 as well as in 1920.
The men's 200 metre freestyle event at the 1984 Summer Olympics was held in the McDonald's Olympic Swim Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on July 29, 1984. There were 56 competitors from 36 nations, with each nation having up to two swimmers. The event was won by Michael Gross of West Germany, the nation's first victory in the event. His countryman Thomas Fahrner took bronze. Americans placed second and fourth, with Mike Heath earning silver and Jeff Float in fourth place.

Between 1974 and 1984, Shaw won two Olympic silver medals; three world championships; seven U.S. Amateur Athletic Union national titles; and three U.S. National Collegiate Athletic Association championships.
The men's 200 metres event was part of the track and field athletics programme at the 1924 Summer Olympics. The first two rounds were held on 8 July, with the semifinals and final on 9 July. Sixty-five sprinters from 33 countries competed. Nations were limited to 4 athletes each. The event was won by Jackson Scholz of the United States, the nation's third consecutive victory in the event and fifth in six Games. For the third straight Games, the podium consisted of two Americans winning gold and silver and a Brit taking bronze. Paddock, the silver medalist in 1920 as well, was the second man to earn multiple medals in the 200 metres.
William Tripp Woolsey was an American competition swimmer and Olympic champion. He represented the United States at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland, where he won a gold medal in the men's 4×200-meter freestyle relay with Wayne Moore, Ford Konno and Jimmy McLane. Four years later at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia, he won a silver medal in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay with Dick Hanley, George Breen and Ford Konno.

Louis Croenen is a Belgian competitive swimmer. He competed in the 4 × 200 metre freestyle relay event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. In 2016 he competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's 200 metre butterfly event and the men's 4 x 200 metre freestyle relay event.
Stephen A. Ruddy Jr. was an American competition swimmer who represented the United States at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp, Belgium. Ruddy competed in the preliminary heats of the men's 200-meter breaststroke and men's 400-meter breaststroke, but did not advance.

Matthew Coad is a New Zealand sprinter. He competed in the men's 200 metres at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Coad holds a 200m best of 20.61 (+1.8m/s), which is currently the fifth fastest 200m time in New Zealand history, as well as a 100m best of 10.44 (+0.9m/s).
Mark Keddell is a New Zealand sprinter. In 1995, Keddell won the 100m and 200m titles at the New Zealand Track and Field Nationals. On 4 February the same year he set a New Zealand record of 20.51 for 200m. This was the New Zealand record until Chris Donaldson bettered it by running 20.42 in March 1997. Keddell currently ranks third on the New Zealand all-time 200m list.
