Paolo Ranno (born 23 February 1966) is an Italian sports shooter. He competed in the men's 10 metre air pistol event at the 2000 Summer Olympics. [1]
Paolo Barelli is an Italian Senator and suspended president of the Italian Swimming Federation, and a former swimmer. On 24 July 2009 he was named Honorary Secretary of FINA for the 2009-2013 term. In October 2012 Barelli was elected president of LEN.
Paolo Salvi was an Italian gymnast who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics and in the 1920 Summer Olympics. He was part of the Italian team, which was able to win the gold medal in the gymnastics men's team, European system event in 1912 as well as in 1920.

Paolo Angioni is an Italian former equestrian and Olympic champion. He competed in the mixed three-day eventing, individual and team, at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics and won a team gold medal in 1964. In 1966, Angioni was crushed by his horse at a competition in Poland. He went into a coma, but recovered and continued to compete. In retirement he wrote several books on equestrian history and techniques.
Pier Paolo Lucchetta is an Italian former volleyball player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics and in the 1988 Summer Olympics. He was born in Treviso. Four years later he won the bronze medal with the Italian team in the 1984 Olympic tournament. He played all six matches.
Paolo Ignazio Maria Thaon di Revel was an Italian politician and fencer. He was the son of Count Vittorio Thaon di Revel and Elfrida Maria Atkinson. He fought in the First World War. He was also Mayor of Torino (1929–35) and Italian Minister of Finance (1935–43) in the Mussolini Cabinet. After the war, he was president of the organising committee of the 1956 Winter Olympics at Cortina d'Ampezzo.
