Para todos la Dos/ Para todos La 2 (word game in Spanish language meaning La 2 for everybody and phonetically Para todos lados means to/for everywhere or to/for every part) is a Spanish talk show by RTVE and broadcast from Sant Cugat's regional studios. The show now broadcast live, every Saturday at 12:00 p.m. Originally, the show was shown live at ~12 p.m. UTC+01:00 and pre-recorded at 7 pm UTC+01:00 (from Monday to Friday). [2]

Spain participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "La noche es para mí" written by Irini Michas, Dimitri Stassos, Jason Gill and Felipe Pedroso. The song was performed by Soraya. The Spanish broadcaster Televisión Española (TVE) organised the national final Eurovisión 2009: El retorno in order to select the Spanish entry for the 2009 contest in Moscow, Russia. The national final consisted of three semi-finals and a final and involved 30 artists and songs. Ten entries ultimately qualified to compete in the televised final where an in-studio jury and a public televote selected "La noche es para mí" performed by Soraya as the winner.

The 2009 Palma Nova bombing occurred on July 30, 2009, when a limpet bomb went off outside a Civil Guard barracks in the town of Palma Nova, Majorca, Spain. The bomb was placed under a patrol car and two Civil Guard officers died as a result of the explosion. A second device was found under another Civil Guard vehicle at nearby barracks and safely exploded by police. On August 9, the Basque nationalist and separatist organisation ETA claimed responsibility for the attack, while four other bombs exploded around restaurants and shopping centres in Palma, Majorca, causing no injuries.

Benidorm Fest is a Spanish song contest organised by the public communication company Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE) in collaboration with the Generalitat Valenciana to determine Spain's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest, beginning with 2022. It is held in Benidorm, Valencian Community, at the Palau Municipal d'Esports l'Illa de Benidorm.

Spain participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy, with the song "SloMo" performed by Chanel. The Spanish broadcaster Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE), together with the Generalitat Valenciana, organised Benidorm Fest in order to select the Spanish entry for the 2022 contest. Benidorm Fest consisted of two semi-finals on 26 and 27 January and the final on 29 January 2022. A total of thirteen artists and songs competed, and the winner was determined by a combination of votes from an expert jury, a demoscopic panel and a televote.

Benidorm Fest 2023 was the second edition of the annual Benidorm Fest, a television song contest held in Benidorm, organised and broadcast by RTVE. The show was held between 31 January and 4 February 2023, and was hosted by Mónica Naranjo, Inés Hernand and Rodrigo Vázquez. The winner of the competition was "Eaea" performed by Blanca Paloma, who represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, finishing 17th in the grand final.
