Ferreira had previously been crowned Miss Teen Universe Paraguay 2015, and placed as the third runner-up at Miss Teen Universe 2015.

Miss Grand Paraguay is an annual female beauty pageant based in Asunción of Paraguay, founded in 2017 by Gabriel Roman of MGM Productions, aiming to select the country representatives to compete in various international pageants including its parent pageant, Miss Grand International, in which Paraguay won the main title once in 2018, by Clara Sosa of Asunción, and was placed among the Top 20 semifinalists three times in 2017, 2019 and 2022 by Lía Ashmore, Milena Rodríguez and Agatha León, respectively.
Miss Grand Paraguay 2022 is the fifth edition of the Miss Grand Paraguay beauty contest, held at Hotel Guaraní in Asunción on 7 May 2022, and was beamed live to a virtual audience worldwide via the pageant YouTube channel named MGM Producciones as well as the national digital television network Unicanal.
Miss Grand Paraguay 2017 was the first edition of the Miss Grand Paraguay pageant, held on July 29, 2017, at the Agustin Pio Barrios Theater in Japanese Paraguayan Center. Sixteen candidates competed for the title, of whom Lía Duarte Ashmore from the Guairá Department was named the winner, and later represented Paraguay at Miss Grand International 2017 in Vietnam, where she was placed among the top 20 finalists.
Miss Grand Paraguay 2018 was the second edition of the Miss Grand Paraguay pageant, held on June 9, 2018, at the Theater of the Americas, Paraguayan-American Cultural Center (CCPA) in Asunción. Fifteen national delegates, either determined through the regional pageant or through central casting, competed for the right to represent the country at Miss Grand International 2018, of whom the representative of Asunción, Clara Sosa, was elected the winner. She then participated in the international contest in Myanmar, where she won the title, making her the first Paraguayan candidate to win the Miss Grand International pageant.
Miss Grand Paraguay 2019 was the 3rd edition of the Miss Grand Paraguay pageant, held on July 29, 2019, at the Marshal Convention Center, Asunción. Sixteen national aspirants either chosen through regional pageant or central casting competed for the title, of whom the representative of Itapúa, Milena Rodríguez, was named the winner. She later represented Paraguay at the Miss Grand International 2019 pageant in Venezuela and was placed among the top 20 finalists.
Miss Grand Paraguay 2021 was the 4th edition of the Miss Grand Paraguay pageant, held on July 3, 2021, at the Hotel Guaraní in Asunción. The contest featured twenty-two candidates, either chosen through regional pageants or through central casting, competed for the title, of whom the representative from Colonias Unidas, Jimena Sosa, was named the winner. She then represented Paraguay in the Miss Grand International 2021 pageant in Thailand, but got a non-placement.
