Paranoid Dream of the Zodiac is a 2007 album by the band Balzac. [1] The CD combines two of Zodiac's (Balzac's side-project) - "Beware on Halloween" and the maxi-single "Zodiac x Balzac".[ citation needed ]
The Zodiac Killer is the pseudonym of an unidentified serial killer who operated in Northern California in the late 1960s. The Zodiac murdered five known victims in the San Francisco Bay Area between December 1968 and October 1969, operating in rural, urban and suburban settings. He targeted three young couples and a lone male cab driver. The case has been described as "arguably the most famous unsolved murder case in American history", and has become both a fixture of popular culture and a focus for efforts by amateur detectives.
Macabre is an American extreme metal band from Chicago. Since their formation in 1985, the band has featured the same three members with no lineup changes. The group's style blends thrash metal, death metal, and grindcore. Lyrically, Macabre have a strong focus on serial killers, mass murderers and humorous elements. The group is currently signed to Nuclear Blast.
Collection II, also known as Misfits II, a compilation album of songs by the American punk rock band Misfits. Released on November 14, 1995, it serves as a companion album to the band's previous compilation, Collection I. Both compilations collect all the early singles and the entire Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood album, and are meant to complement Walk Among Us and Legacy of Brutality with little overlap. All the early singles are supposed to be represented, although alternative versions of some songs are used instead of the original releases.
Sinister Slaughter is the second full-length album by American death metal band Macabre and was released in 1993 by Nuclear Blast Records. The cover artwork is a parody on the Beatles album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band featuring the band members, serial killers and mass murderers instead of famous people. The album was re-released in 2000 in a digipak that included the songs off the Behind the Wall of Sleep EP as bonus tracks.
Zodiac is a 2007 American neo-noir true crime thriller film directed by David Fincher from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt based on the nonfiction books by Robert Graysmith: Zodiac (1986) and Zodiac Unmasked (2002). Ulli Lommel was a German actor and director, noted for his many collaborations with Rainer Werner Fassbinder and his association with the New German Cinema movement. Lommel spent time at The Factory and was a creative associate of Andy Warhol, with whom he made several films and works of art. Balzac is a Japanese punk rock band formed in 1992 in Kyoto. The band was founded by singer and songwriter Hirosuke Nishiyama, who has remained the only constant member of the band since its creation. Since the beginning, Balzac was highly influenced by the sound and image of the American horror punk band Misfits and, especially during the very early years, Glenn Danzig's Samhain, adopting and combining the musical and visual style of both bands to create their own. Balzac's lyrics, though not always serious in tone, often deal with themes of darkness, loneliness and fear.

Out Of The Light Of The 13 Dark Night was the first official full-length album released in Germany by the Japanese horror punk band Balzac. It consists of re-recordings of previously released songs by the band and is considered by some as a European counterpart to the album Beyond The Darkness, as it served to properly introduce Balzac to Europe.
Live At O-East 20040305 is the first full-length live album by the Japanese horror punk band Balzac. It was released in a special package and was only available in the venues the band played during that tour. It was recorded at their performance at the O-East venue in 2004; the numbers in the album title represent the date of the event.
Liquid Room 20050403 Official Bootleg is a live album by the Japanese horror punk band Balzac. The album is an official bootleg of the same show at which the live video DVD, with the same name, was made. Both the CD and the DVD were supplied in the limited "Liquid Room Box Set", with a photograph book and other items. Recorded at the Liquid Room venue in 2005, the numbers in the title represent the date of the event.

"When The Fiendish Ghouls Night" is the fourth single by the Japanese horror punk band Balzac. Released through their own label, Evilegend13 Records, it was sold in four different colors for the vinyl and sticker. In 2007, Balzac re-launched the single in CD format, with two bonus tracks.
The Birth of Evil is an album by the Japanese horror punk band Balzac. The album contains re-recordings of the band's earliest material. Tracks 1-6 are from the first demo tape Scapegoat 666, tracks 7-12 are from the second demo tape Descent of the Diabolos and tracks 13-17 are unreleased songs that were generally played by Hirosuke's previous band, Astrozombies. The two versions of The Complete Legacy Book, labeled as "Scapegoat" and "Diabolos", each contain a re-recording of the original demo tape associated with the version of the book, and these recordings appear on The Birth of Evil remastered. The remaining tracks are entirely new to this album. The Birth of Evil is billed as the "Early Balzac Songs 1992-1994 Compilation" on the back cover.

Tattooed Beat Messiah is the 1988 debut full-length studio release by Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction. Engineered by Femi Jiya and Mark Freegard. Mixed by Nigel Green. The album reached #132 on the US Billboard 200 and #20 on the UK album charts in March 1988 supported by music videos for the "Prime Mover", "Backseat Education", and "Planet Girl". Tracks included on the album that had been released in 1987 were remixed for inclusion on the album. "Prime Mover" would be the band's most successful single reaching #18 on the UK singles charts in May 1987, well in advance of the eventual album release. The single also charted in New Zealand hitting #12.
The Ted Cruz–Zodiac Killer meme is an Internet meme which originated in 2013 and gained popularity in 2015. A facetious conspiracy theory, the meme suggests that Ted Cruz, a United States senator and 2016 US presidential candidate, is the Zodiac Killer, an unidentified serial killer active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It is impossible for Cruz to be the Zodiac Killer, as the murders began before his birth. Circulators of the meme do not genuinely believe that he was the Zodiac Killer, citing the absurdity of its premise; NPR wrote that the meme captured "a feeling they have about Cruz: they think he's creepy. And they want to point that out, as clearly as they can."
