Parasites are an American pop-punk band. They were formed in the late 1980s by guitarist / singer Dave Parasite and bassist Ron Nole in New Jersey. [1] Dave later relocated to Berkeley, California, and continued with a new lineup during the heyday of Lookout! Records and the Bay Area pop-punk revival. [2]
Parasites have been releasing records since 1987 and toured the US, Europe and Japan extensively. They have played with Green Day, Rancid, NOFX, Bad Religion, Buzzcocks, Jawbreaker, The Queers, Lunachicks, Fear, The Adicts, Channel 3, Dayglo Abortions, JFA, Good Riddance, Street Dogs, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Mr. T Experience, The Smoking Popes, Dillinger 4, The Ataris, Swingin' Utters, Weston, Ben Weasel, The Ergs, The Methadones, The Lillingtons, Squirtgun, D.O.A., The Vibrators, Los Crudos, Sloppy Seconds, Dan Vapid and the Cheats, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Down By Law, Avail, J Church, Travoltas, The Apers, Sonic Dolls, Banner Pilot, Iron Chic, Boris The Sprinkler, FYP, Lemuria, Masked Intruder, and thousands of other bands.
After taking a break in 2003, the band reunited in 2006 to release Retro-Pop Remasters, a "Best Of" compilation, on Go Kart Records. [3] [4] It was promoted with a US tour in November 2006 with the Ergs!. [5] They appeared at Insubordination Fest in 2008. [6] They have seen released new albums: "Solitary" in 2009, and "Non Stop Power Pop" in 2012, both on Kid Tested Records, Dave Parasite's imprint label of Go Kart Records, as well as many other releases. The band has toured in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 and a 28 band Parasites Tribute album, Paracomp, was released in 2015. Between albums, singles, EPs, splits, and compilations, they have over 100 releases.

Saddle Creek Records is an American record label based in Omaha, Nebraska. Started as a college class project on entrepreneurship, the label was founded by Mike Mogis and Justin Oberst in 1993. Mogis soon turned over his role in the company to Robb Nansel. The label is named after Saddle Creek Road, a major street which cuts through midtown Omaha and also the beginnings of a scene whose members included Justin's brother Conor Oberst, Tim Kasher, and others. Collectively, they were known unofficially as the "Creekers". Saddle Creek first appeared in print on a show flyer, offering to "Spend an evening with Saddle Creek" Saddle Creek became an incorporated entity as a result of a class project on entrepreneurship. Distribution is handled by Redeye Distribution.
Murderecords is an independent record label that releases the music of the Canadian rock band Sloan. Originally formed in 1992 to produce just the records of that band, it later released work of other bands including Eric's Trip, The Hardship Post, Al Tuck, Stinkin' Rich, Hip Club Groove, The Inbreds, Thrush Hermit, and The Super Friendz, and was Canada's best-known indie label in the 1990s. Later, the roster was stripped bare, and released Sloan albums exclusively for nearly a decade. In 2008, however, albums by Will Currie and the Country French and Pony Da Look were released by the label.

They gained notoriety in the underground punk scene with gritty and controversial songs like "Come Back, Traci," "I Don't Want to be a Homosexual", "Janie is a Nazi", "I Want 'em Dead" and "So Fucked Up."
The Frantics was an American punk rock band from Clinton, South Carolina, United States. Founded by Kevin Mac (vocals/guitar), Timmy Timmy (guitar/vocals), Anthony Price (bass/vocals) and Todd Skeleton (drums/skinny). Drew Perry replaced Skeleton on drums in late 1998, but only recorded a handful of songs with the band.
The band formed out of high school in 1995, and began recording immediately. Frantics toured the U.S. through 1999, releasing two albums and two more singles during that time .
They have toured with and/or supported touring bands including AFI, Parasites, Cletus, Against All Authority, The Pull-Outs, Blanks 77, Flatus, The Vandals, MU330, The Bouncing Souls, The Force, Zeke and Mustard Plug.
2005 saw a one-time "reunion" show for the Frantics, playing to raise funds for a cancer-stricken local club owner that booked them during their heyday. Within a year of reuniting, Kevin, Anthony and Drew formed The Black Kites, who released a four song EP and played shows through 2008.
In 2018, the Frantics were named the representatives for South Carolina in Kerrang's "The United States of Punk."
M.O.T.O. is an American garage punk band currently based in New Hampshire. Formed in New Orleans in 1981 by Paul Caporino, the lineup of the band has seen many changes over the years, with Caporino being the only consistent member. The band has recorded many albums, singles and CDs, including several albums for the Chicago-based record label Criminal IQ Records.

Weston is a punk rock band hailing from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1990, they took their name from singer Dave Weston's family, since his parents allowed them to practice in their basement. The band never found mainstream success but their energetic and irreverent live shows earned them legendary status amongst their peers as well as their fans. Following their major label debut, the band split up. It was announced on October 17, 2006, that Weston would be reuniting for three shows in late December. This led to even more reunion shows in following years and a live album released December 2009.
Rachel Carns is an American musician, composer, artist and performer living in Olympia, Washington, U.S. Raised in small-town Wisconsin, she went on to study painting and drawing at Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City, where she completed her B.F.A. in 1991. Carns began her career as drummer for Kicking Giant, later collaborating with several bands, including The Need. She is a celebrated graphic designer, working under the name System Lux, and plays drums and percussion with experimental performance art group Cloud Eye Control.
