Early life

Brailsford grew up in Mesa, Arizona and attended Saguaro High School where he lettered in football and track & field. Brailsford decided to commit to play college football for the Washington Huskies. [1] [2]

College career

Washington

In Brailsford's first season in 2022, he would redshirt and not appear in any games. [3] [4] Entering the 2023 season, Brailsford earned a starting spot on the Huskies offensive line. [5] [6] In week three of the 2023 season, Brailsford was named the Pac-12 freshman of the week for his performance against Michigan State. [7] In week ten, Brailsford was named the Pac-12 offensive lineman of the week. [8] [9] For his performance on the season, Brailsford was named second team all Pac-12. [10] Brailsford was also a part of a Huskies offensive line, that won the Joe Moore Award which is awarded to the nation's top offensive line. [11] [12] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Brailsford entered the NCAA transfer portal. [13] [14]

Alabama

On January 21, 2024, Brailsford announced that he would be transferring to Alabama. [15]
