Parveen Hooda is an Indian amateur boxer who won a gold medal at the 2019 South Asian Games and bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships. [3] [4] [5] She was suspended by the International Testing Agency (ITA) for whereabouts failure in the period between April 2022 and March 2023 and she was stripped off the Asian Games medal as per the World Anti-Doping Agency rules. Mangte Chungneijang "Mary" Kom is an Indian Olympic boxer, politician, and former Member of Rajya Sabha. She is the only woman to win the World Amateur Boxing Championship six times, the only female boxer to have won a medal in each one of the first seven World Championships, and the only boxer to win eight World Championship medals. Nicknamed Magnificent Mary, she was the only Indian female boxer to have qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics, where she competed in the flyweight (51 kg) category and won a bronze medal. She had also been ranked as the world's No. 1 female light-flyweight by the International Boxing Association (amateur) (AIBA). She became the first Indian female boxer to win a gold medal in the Asian Games in 2014 at Incheon, South Korea and is the first Indian female boxer to win gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. She is also the only boxer to become Asian Amateur Boxing Champion for a record six times. Mary Kom won the 51kg gold in President's Cup in Indonesia.

Laishram Sarita Devi is an Indian boxer from Manipur. She is a national champion and a former world champion in the lightweight class. In 2009, she was awarded Arjuna award by the government of India for her achievements.

Shiva Thapa is an Indian boxer. Thapa participated in the 2012 London Olympics, and was the youngest Indian boxer to qualify for the Olympics. Thapa is ranked 3rd in the bantamweight category in the AIBA Men's World Ranking. He is the third Indian to clinch gold at the Asian Games. Thapa is the third Indian boxer to win a medal at the AIBA World Boxing Championships. Thapa has been elected as a member of the International Boxing Association (amateur) Athletes Committee.

Devendro Singh Laishram, also known as Devendro Singh or Devendro Laishram, is an Indian boxer from Imphal West district, Manipur who competes in the light-flyweight division. Devendro represented India at the 2012 Summer Olympics and lost out in the quarter-finals in a tough bout against the eventual bronze medalist Irish boxer Paddy Barnes. Devendro qualified for the Olympics after reaching the quarter-finals of the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Baku. In 2013 Devendro won the silver medal at the Asian Confederation Boxing Championship. In August 2014 he won the silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. He competed against Paddy Barnes, who was representing Northern Ireland and settled for a Silver medal.

Lovlina Borgohain is an Indian boxer. She won a bronze medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in the women's welterweight event, becoming only the third Indian boxer to win a medal at the Olympics. She won gold medal at 2023 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships and bronze medals at the 2018 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships and the 2019 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships. Rukhsana Parveen also spelled Rukhsana Perveen is a female boxer from Pakistan. In 2016, she along with two other team mates became the first women boxers from Pakistan to compete in an international competition when they participated at the South Asian Games in Guwahati, India. She was also included in the first ever team sent to the Asian Games.

Boxing at the 2022 Asian Games was held at Hangzhou Gymnasium, Hangzhou, China, from 24 September to 5 October 2023. This tournament also served as a continental qualification event for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

This article details the qualifying phase for boxing at the 2024 Summer Olympics. The competition at these Games comprises a total of 248 boxers coming from the different NOCs, about forty fewer overall than those in Tokyo 2020. Each NOC could only send a single boxer in each of the thirteen weight categories.

The women's 57 kilograms event at the 2018 Asian Games took place from 29 September to 5 October 2023 at Hangzhou Gymnasium, Hangzhou, China.
