The Pascale Picard Band is a Canadian rock group from Quebec City, formed by Pascale Picard (vocal and guitar), Philippe Morissette (bass), Marc Chartrain (drums) and Mathieu Cantin (guitar).
The band first made a small appearance during a TV show on MusiquePlus in Montreal. The station was then flooded with messages to praise the band, forcing them to be reinvited.[ citation needed ]
Me, Myself & Us, the band's first album, was released in April 2007. Seven months later the album was platinum in Canada with more than 100,000 sold copies. The album's first single, "Gate 22", stayed in the Top 50 Anglophone chart in Quebec for 12 weeks and is in rotation on the CBC.CA Canadian singer/songwriters radio stream.
Pascale Picard, the songwriter, is at the center of the band. She was nominated for the 2008 Juno Awards in the category Artist of the year.
In January 2008 the band performed at the Midem, in Cannes, in the hope of opening new horizons in Europe. The single "Gate 22" was released in France in March 2008 and the whole album followed in June.
On August 20, 2008, Pascale and her band, incidentally from Quebec, were asked by Paul McCartney's team to open for the latter's historic show on the Plains of Abraham as part of Quebec's 400th anniversary.
During their 2008 Canadian tour they were supported by The Wooden Sky on the Eastern leg of the tour.
The band's second album A Letter to No One debuted at #4 on the Canadian Albums Chart. [1] In February 2012, they released a soundtrack album for the third season of the television drama series Trauma , [2] which debuted at #18 in Canada. [3]

I Mother Earth, or IME, is a Canadian rock band. The band formed in 1990 and reached its peak in popularity in the mid-to-late 1990s. After an eight-year hiatus, the band reunited in 2012. Between 1996 and 2016, I Mother Earth was among the top 150 best-selling Canadian artists in Canada and among the top 40 best-selling Canadian bands in Canada.

Diane Tell is a Canadian musician who was born in Quebec City, Quebec. She entered the Val d’Or conservatory at the age of six. She continued her studies at the Montréal conservatory and then at CEGEP Saint-Laurent and she wrote her first songs at the age of twelve. As one of Québec's pioneering female singer-songwriters, she proposed her personal repertoire over the course of her first four albums. She won six Félix prizes before the age of 25: breakout artist, best artist, best album, best song and, twice, songwriter of the year. Several of her songs have become SOCAN Classics and Si j’étais un homme was inducted in the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2017. She earned a MIDEM Award for her album Chimères and a Victoire Award for her album Faire à nouveau connaissance. In 1990, she was chosen by Plamondon, Berger and Savary to play a leading role in the musical La légende de Jimmy. Following that, she played the lead and composed the score for another musical, Marilyn Montreuil, written and stage directed by Jérôme Savary and the Théâtre National du Chaillot, in Paris. Over 300 performances of both shows were presented in France and Europe. Over the past 25 years, Tell has toured relentlessly, written, composed and recorded in Canada, France, the U.K. and Switzerland. In 2018, she produced her 15th studio album of original material in Montréal. As an independent artist, she owns the phonographic rights of her entire catalogue, manages her own publishing company, and produces and finances her albums herself. Also a photographer, she directs the majority of her music videos. Her YouTube channel gets 400,000 views per month on average. In her blog, Diane Cause Musique, she engages up-and-coming artists by explaining the inner workings of the music industry.
