Passu Glacier

Passu Glacier is situated in the south side of Passu village, in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Passu Peak is situated behind the glacier. This glacier is linked with Batura Glacier and many other glaciers in Batura Muztagh mountain range.

Shimshal, previously known as Shingshal, is a village located in the Gojal tehsil of the Hunza District in the Gilgit–Baltistan region of northern Pakistan. It lies at an altitude of 3,113 metres (10,213 ft) above sea level and is the highest settlement in the district. It is the largest valley in Gilgit-Baltistan. It encompasses nearly the entire district of Hunza. Situated within the valley is the Shimshal River, a tributary that feeds into the Hunza River. Shimshal itself is a border village, serving as a linkage point between Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan region and China.

Batura Glacier, 57 km (35 mi) long, is one of the largest and longest glaciers outside of the polar regions. It lies in the upper Hunza (Gojal) region of Hunza District, in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It is just north of the massifs of Batura, at 7,795 metres (25,574 ft), and Passu, at 7,500 metres (24,600 ft). The glacier flows west to east. The lower portions can be described as a grey sea of rocks and gravelly moraine, bordered by a few summer villages and pastures with herds of sheep, goats, cows and yaks and where roses and juniper trees are common.

Khuramabad is a hamlet located on the east side of Passu valley in Gojal, Hunza in Pakistan. It is used for pasture in winter. It is on the other side of the Hunza river from Passu village. There is no vehicle access, only a long pedestrian suspension bridge crossing. Many tourist come to see the bridge. Above the Khuramabad there is a very beautiful viewpoint called Abdegar, from this place you can see many colorful mountains around Passu and Batura valley

Marsa Glacier is the 5 km long and 1.5 km wide glacier in Bangey Heights on the east side of the main ridge of north-central Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. It is situated northeast of Patleyna Glacier and northwest of the head of Padala Glacier. The glacier drains the north slopes of Golemani Peak, flows north-northwestwards between Oreshak Peak and Fucha Peak, and joins Embree Glacier west of Mount Schmid.

Muchu Chhish is a mountain in the Batura Muztagh sub-range of the Karakoram in Hunza Valley, in northern areas of Pakistan. Located in a very remote and inaccessible region, only a handful of attempts have been made to reach the summit; and none have succeeded. Muchu Chhish is one of the tallest mountains on Earth that remains unclimbed, and the tallest one of all that is not off limits due to religious or political prohibitions. The peak has a modest prominence however, rising only 263 m (863 ft) above the nearest col or pass. The Batura Glacier, one of the longest outside the polar regions, flanks Muchu Chhish to the north.
