Patricia L. Birkholz (January 28, 1944 - May 3, 2018) was a director of the Michigan Office of the Great Lakes. [1] Previously, she served as a member of the Michigan State Senate from 2002 to 2010. In the Senate, she represented the 24th district comprising Allegan, Barry and Eaton Counties. [2] Prior to her terms in the Senate, she represented the 88th District in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1996 to 2002. She was the Allegan County Treasurer from 1992 to 1996. Birkholz began her career in politics as a trustee for Saugatuck Township. [3]

Birkholz has a degree from Western Michigan University.

Birholz died of cancer on May 3, 2018, aged 74. [4]

Clancy first ran for the Ohio House of Representatives in 1996, after Representative Lou Blessing opted to run for the Ohio Senate. She won, and was reelected in 1998 and 2000. For the 124th Ohio General Assembly, Clancy was named as majority leader of the House. She won a final term in the House 2002, before facing term limits.

Patricia Torres Ray is a Colombian-American politician and member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), she represents District 63, which includes portions of southeastern Minneapolis and eastern Richfield in Hennepin County in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. She is the first Latina woman to serve in the Minnesota Senate. She ran for Congress in Minnesota's 5th district to succeed Congressman Keith Ellison, but lost in the primary to Ilhan Omar.

Rebekah Lynn Warren is an American Democratic politician from Ann Arbor, Michigan, representing the 55th District of the Michigan House of Representatives since January 1, 2019. She was elected to this position on November 6, 2018, beating Republican opponent Bob Baird, 74% to 26%. She was arrested for drunk driving and fleeing police in a motor vehicle on December 26, 2019.
