Gerald Wayne Clough is an American civil engineer and educator who is President Emeritus of the Georgia Institute of Technology and former Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution. A graduate of Georgia Tech in civil engineering, he was the first alumnus to serve as President of the Institute.

Gary Stephen May is the chancellor of the University of California, Davis. From May 2005 to June 2011, he was the Steve W. He is also the former President of the International Communication Association (ICA) and a Trustee of the Web Science Trust.
Martin Wachs (1941–2021) was an American professor emeritus of Urban Planning at the University of California, Los Angeles and of City and Regional Planning and of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. He began his career in university teaching in 1968 and retired from teaching in 2006, to work at the Rand Corporation until 2010.
Aldon Douglas Morris is emeritus professor of sociology at Northwestern University and member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, whose work involves social movements, civil rights, and social inequality. Christopher Daniel Pappas is a special advisor to the CEO of Trinseo S.A., a Berwyn-based global materials company that manufactures plastics, latex, and synthetic rubber, among others. Pappas previously served as the company's president and chief executive officer, beginning in June 2010 when the Dow Chemical Company sold a group of its businesses and assets to Bain Capital under the name Styron. Pappas retired from the position of CEO as of March 4, 2019.

He has served as Edgar B. and Hedwig M. Olson Distinguished Professor of Civil Engineering at Purdue University. since 1998.
Reginald DesRoches is an American civil engineer who, as of July 1, 2022, serves as the president at Rice University. From 2020 until 2022, he served as provost of Rice. Earlier, beginning in 2017, he was the dean of engineering at Rice's school of engineering, and from 2012 to 2017, DesRoches held the Karen and John Huff Chair at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Niemeier is an American transportation engineer known for her work on measuring vehicle emissions and its impact on the air quality in nearby neighborhoods, on the effects of carbon dioxide on climate change, on gender differences in commuting behavior, and on the quantification of transport accessibility. She is James & Alice B. Clark Distinguished Chair Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Baher Abdulhai is a Canadian civil engineer, academic, entrepreneur, and researcher. He is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Director of Intelligent Transportation Systems Centre, and Co-Director of iCity Centre for Automated and Transformative Transportation at the University of Toronto. He is also the CEO and managing director of IntelliCAN Transportation System Inc.
Yoram Shiftan is a professor in the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, where he holds the Joseph Meyerhoff Chair in Urban and Regional Planning.
