Patrick Obahiagbon (born April 12,1960) is a Nigerian politician and legal practitioner. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2007,and served Oredo until his appointment as chief of staff to Governor Adams Oshiomole in 2011. Obahiagbon established a cult-following among many Nigerians for his grammatical caricature when engaged in social and political commentary.
Obahiagbon completed his secondary school education at St John Bosco Grammar School in Obiaja,Bendel State. He then proceeded to study Law at University of Benin,graduating in 1987. [6] Additionally,he holds master's degrees in Public Administration and International history and diplomacy. [7]
Obahiagbon's political career began in 1999.
He left the People's Democratic Party for Action Congress of Nigeria in 2010,and was a de jure member of All Progressive Congress after the merger in 2013. [8] In November 2012,he replaced Osarodion Ogie as the chief of staff to Governor Adams Oshiomole. [9]
Following the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the Nigerian general elections,2015,Obahiagbon commended the Buhari administration for "showing spartan discipline that was already yielding results". [10] He also pleaded with APC state party members to be patient with newly elected Governor Godwin Obaseki. [11] In 2017,he became the representative of the South South states in the Nigeria Tennis Federation. [12]
Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole is a Nigerian politician who is the senator representing Edo North Senatorial District since 2023. He is a former national chairman of the All Progressive Congress. He had previously served as the president of the Nigeria Labour Congress from 1999 to 2007 and as governor of Edo State from 2008 to 2016.

Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is a Nigerian politician,he served as the federal minister of transportation of Nigeria from 2015 to 2022 under the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari. He resigned to contest for Nigeria's presidency under the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC). He previously served as governor of oil-rich Rivers State from 2007 to 2015 and speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 1999 to 2007. On 9 April 2022,Amaechi declared his interest to contest in the presidential election in 2023,he came second in the APC presidential primaries held in June 2022 behind eventually winner Bola Tinubu with 316 votes from the delegates.
John Odigie Oyegun is a Nigerian politician who served as the first national chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria. He was also the Executive Governor of Edo State between 1992 and 1993,during the aborted Nigerian Third Republic.

Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki is a Nigerian politician and businessman who is currently the Governor of Edo State. He was first elected governor under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the year 2016 where He defeated Mr. Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the PDP and was sworned in as governor on 12 November 2016. Before becoming governor,he served as chairman of the Edo State Economic and Strategy Team inaugurated by former Governor Adams Oshiomole in March 2009.
The 2016 Edo State gubernatorial election was held on 28 September,2016 to determine the Governor of Edo State. The election was originally scheduled for 10 September,however two days before,on 8 September it was postponed due to security concerns.

Both won reelection,leading to no net change in terms of overall party control of governorships.

Patrick Aisowieren is a Nigerian politician who has served as a representative of the Orhionmwon/Uhumwonde constituency in the House of Representatives of Nigeria during both the 8th and 9th National Assembly. His political career began in 2003 when he was elected as a Councillor in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State.
