Patterson High School is a high school in unincorporated St. Mary Parish, Louisiana, United States, near the city of Patterson. It is a part of the St. Mary Parish School Board.
Patterson High competes in the LHSAA in the 3A classification in all of the following varsity sports: baseball, basketball (boys and girls), cross country (boys), football, golf, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
On January 15, 2009, Kenny Hilliard, a sophomore running back at Patterson High was named ESPN RISE Sophomore Player of the Year. [2]
Patterson High was named a Blue Ribbon Schools in 2006 in which former principal, Michael Brocato, and head of the math department, Cathie Vernon, traveled to Washington D.C. to accept the award.[ citation needed ]

Isaac Jason Hilliard is a former American football wide receiver and coach. He played college football for the University of Florida, and earned All-American honors. He was a first-round pick by the New York Giants in the 1997 NFL Draft and also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before retiring in 2008.

Aquille Carr is an American professional basketball player for the Reading Rebels of The Basketball League (TBL). He attended Princeton Day Academy in Lanham, Maryland, and was a highly scouted prospect for the 2013 college recruiting class. In January 2012, Carr announced his commitment to the Seton Hall University Pirates men's basketball team for the 2013–14 season. In March 2013, he instead announced that he was skipping college to play overseas, but ultimately stayed in the United States to play with the Delaware 87ers of the NBA Development League. Carr declared for the 2014 NBA draft, but was not selected.
