David Ridgway is a former placekicker for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. His CFL career began in 1981 when he was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes. He did not make the squad that year and returned to the University of Toledo to complete his degree in Marketing. Prior to the 1982 CFL season he signed as a free-agent with the Roughriders and began an impressive 14-year career with the club.

After signing with Saskatchewan in 2007, he was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player after the 2009 CFL season. He would help the team capture the Grey Cup twice, in 2007 and 2013. Chick has also spent time in the National Football League (NFL) with the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars. Prior to playing professional football, Chick played college football for the Utah State Aggies. During his senior season with the Aggies, Chick recorded 12.5 quarterback sacks, good enough for fifth overall in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Chick also played for the Hamilton Tiger Cats and Edmonton Eskimos later in his career.

Willie Pless is a former Canadian football linebacker in the Canadian Football League. He played for the Toronto Argonauts, BC Lions, Edmonton Eskimos, and Saskatchewan Roughriders, winning the 1993 Grey Cup with the Eskimos. He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
James J. Spavital was an American gridiron football player, coach and executive in six different professional football leagues. He served as the head coach of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 1970 to 1973 and as head coach of the Chicago Fire of the World Football League (WFL) in 1974. Spavital was the general manager of the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders from 1979 to 1982 and the Michigan Panthers of the United States Football League (USFL) in 1983.
Brendon LaBatte is a Canadian football guard with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. He was drafted sixth overall by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 2008 CFL Draft. He played CIS Football with the Regina Rams.

He is a former professional Canadian football defensive end who played in parts of six seasons in the Canadian Football League. He was drafted first overall by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 2010 CFL Draft after Saskatchewan traded up to be in a position to draft him. Williams played one season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats before being traded back to Saskatchewan. He played college football for the Queen's Golden Gaels and the Houston Cougars.
Mark Nelson is a former professional Canadian football linebacker who is currently the special teams coordinator for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for seven seasons in the Canadian Football League for the Calgary Stampeders and Saskatchewan Roughriders. He is a three-time Grey Cup champion having won as a coach in 1993, 1996 and 2016.
Ben Heenan is a Canadian born former American football guard who played for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL) in 2015. He also played with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of Canadian Football League (CFL). Heenan played college football for the University of Saskatchewan, and was ranked as the second best player in the CFL's Amateur Scouting Bureau final rankings for players eligible in the 2012 CFL Draft, and first by players in Canadian Interuniversity Sport, at the end of the 2011 CIS season.

He played CIS football at the University of Saskatchewan and attended Evan Hardy Collegiate in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Redl was also a member of the BC Lions. He is the younger brother of fellow CFL player Doug Redl.

He was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the third round of the 1988 CFL Draft. He played college football at Bowling Green State University.
Kevin Francis is a professional Canadian football linebacker for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). After going undrafted in the 2016 NFL draft, Francis declared eligible for the 2016 CFL Supplemental Draft after informing the league that he was born in Toronto, Ontario. He was drafted by the Roughriders on May 26, 2016, who forfeited a third round selection in the 2017 CFL Draft to acquire his rights. Upon entering 2016 training camp, Francis switched to the defensive side of the ball after playing as a tight end during his college football career with the North Carolina A&T Aggies. He made his CFL debut on June 30, 2016 against the Toronto Argonauts, registering his first defensive tackle. Francis finished his rookie season leading the team in special team tackles, also being ranked 7 on the CFL rising sophomore list

He played for the Toronto Argonauts for three seasons and was a member of the 105th Grey Cup championship team. He played U Sports football with the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks.
