Paul D. Muldowney (born June 28,1935) is an American politician. He was a member of the Maryland House of Delegates,representing District 3A from 1979 to 1986.
Paul D. Muldowney was born on June 28,1935,in Richmond,Virginia. He attended Benedictine College Preparatory. He graduated from Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1957. [1]
Muldowney worked as a business executive and served in the U.S. Army. [1] Muldowney served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates,representing District 3A from 1979 to 1986. He was elected as a Democrat. [2] In 1994,Muldowney ran for Maryland's 6th congressional district seat in the U.S. Congress. [3]
Muldowney is married with seven children. [1]
John Francis Mercer was a Founding Father of the United States,politician,lawyer,planter,and slave owner from Virginia and Maryland. An officer during the Revolutionary War,Mercer initially served in the Virginia House of Delegates and then the Maryland State Assembly. As a member of the assembly,he was appointed a delegate from Maryland to the Philadelphia Convention of 1787,where he was a framer of the U.S. Constitution though he left the convention before signing. Mercer was later elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from two different districts in Maryland. In 1801—1803,he served as Maryland's 10th governor.
