Kent County Cricket Club is one of the eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Kent. A club representing the county was first founded in 1842 but Kent teams have played top-class cricket since the early 18th century,and the club has always held first-class status. The current Kent County Cricket Club was formed on 6 December 1870 following the merger of two representative teams. Kent have competed in the County Championship since the official start of the competition in 1890 and have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England. The club's limited overs team is called the Kent Spitfires after the Supermarine Spitfire.
James Andrew Tomlinson is an English former cricketer. A left-arm medium pace bowler,capable of producing swing at a brisk pace,Tomlinson first appeared in senior cricket for the Hampshire Cricket Board in List A cricket in the 2000 NatWest Trophy. He first appeared for Hampshire in first-class cricket in 2002,at this stage of career he had to work his cricket career around his studies at Cardiff University. In 2003 he was Hampshire's recipient of the NBC Denis Compton Award. His early career with Hampshire was beset by injury,which limited his appearances. By 2008,Tomlinson had established himself in the Hampshire team,mostly as a specialist first-class player. It was in this season that he became the first Hampshire bowler since Malcolm Marshall to end the season as the leading wicket taker in the County Championship,finishing with 67 wickets.
Adrian Nigel Aymes,known as Adi Aymes,was a first-class cricketer for Hampshire County Cricket Club,where he was a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper for fifteen years,winning the Natwest Trophy in 1991. His interest in both football and cricket saw him play the former in his youth,making appearances for Bristol Rovers reserves and becoming assistant-manager of Lymington Town before becoming a full-time cricketer aged 24.
Tony Charles Middleton is an English cricket coach and a former first-class cricketer. Middleton played for Hampshire from 1984 to 1995,making over 160 appearances across first-class and one-day cricket. Following his retirement in 1995,he has held a variety of coaching roles at Hampshire and as 2024 is the club's batting coach.
Havant &Waterlooville Football Club is a professional association football club based in Havant,Hampshire,England. The club participates in the Southern League Premier Division South,the seventh level of English football,after relegation from the National League South in the 2023-24 season. The club formed in 1998 after a merger between Havant Town and Waterlooville. Nicknamed "The Hawks",they play at Westleigh Park.
John Wakefield Holder is a Barbadian-born English former first-class cricketer and international cricket umpire. Holder was born in Saint George,Barbados. Following the completion of his education,he emigrated to England in search of work with London Transport. After impressing in club cricket in London,Holder began playing county cricket for Hampshire as a fast-medium bowler,in a first-class county career which lasted from 1968 to 1972. Injury forced Holder to retire from professional cricket,though he later returned to play professionally in the Lancashire League and for Western Province in South Africa. After the conclusion of his playing career,Holder became an umpire at domestic and international level. He would stand as an umpire in both Test and One Day International cricket from 1988 to 2001. Holder retired from umpiring in 2009,having stood in over 400 first-class and List A one-day matches apiece. As of 2021,he remained the only non-white English umpire in nearly 150 years of Test cricket.
Henry Michael Barnard was an English first-class cricketer and professional footballer. As a cricketer,he represented Hampshire in 276 first-class matches and played an important part in helping Hampshire to win their first County Championship in 1961. As a predominantly middle order batsman,he scored over 9,000 runs for Hampshire. In football,he made 116 appearances in the Football League as an inside forward for Portsmouth,scoring 24 goals. He also played non-League football for Gosport Borough,Chelmsford City,and Poole Town.
The Hampshire Cricket Board (HCB) was formed in 1996 and is the governing body for all recreational cricket in the historic county of Hampshire. Following a restructuring in January 2010,the HCB now operates as a limited company.

Steven John Dean is a former English cricketer. Dean was a right-handed batsman. He was born in Cosford,Shropshire.
