Paul Hines (born 3 December 1980) is a BriSCA Formula 1 Stock Cars racing driver from Hinckley, Leicestershire who races under number 259.
Hines first started racing in V8 Hotstox. He switched to BriSCA F1 in 2002, debuting in a borrowed car at Skegness Stadium on 14 July. He bought his first car to race the following season, and worked his way through the grades to finish 18th in the National Points Championship.
His first major championship success came in 2005, when he won the European Championship at Northampton. He won the British Championship at Skegness in 2010. In 2011, he won a World Championship Semi-Final at Belle Vue and started the World Championship Final at Northampton from pole position. He finished the World Final in fourth place.
Hines was one of the drivers featured in the 2010 BBC documentary series Gears and Tears. He has also appeared in print in a number of different stock car publications. He wrote a V8 Hotstox column in the early 2000s for Stock Car Magazine and has written a column for Oval Racing News. He also contributed the foreword to a 2011 biography of BriSCA F1 driver John Lund. [1]

Stock car racing is a form of automobile racing run on oval tracks and road courses measuring approximately 0.25 to 2.66 miles. It originally used production-model cars, hence the name "stock car", but is now run using cars specifically built for racing. It originates from the United States and Canada; the world's largest governing body is the American NASCAR. Its NASCAR Cup Series is the premier top-level series of professional stock car racing. Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil and the United Kingdom also have forms of stock car racing. Top-level races typically range between 200 and 600 miles in length.
BriSCA Formula 1 Stock Cars is a class of single-seater stock-car-racing in the UK. Cars are custom-built. The race is conducted on oval tracks of either shale or tarmac of approximately a quarter-mile in length. The tracks are surrounded by either an Armco barrier or post and cable fences to keep the cars on the track. Racing is full-contact, which means drivers are allowed to push, punt and spin, competitors out of the way, although these maneuvers are often subtle, as opposed to simply crashing into each other. The cars are very strong and are of an open wheel design, and are made with the contact element in mind, with front and rear bumpers and sturdy roll cages. The cars may be of any horsepower and drivers can use any engine they choose, with Chevrolet based small or big block V8 engines being the most popular. BriSCA F1 is the pinnacle of oval racing in the UK. The season runs from March through to November, with occasional meetings during Christmas time.

Brandon Stadium also known as Coventry Stadium, is located 6 miles east of Coventry in Brandon, Warwickshire, England. It was the home of the Coventry Bees motorcycle speedway team. It also hosted BriSCA F1 Stock Car Racing on the 1st Saturday of the month from April through to November. From 1978 until early 2016 it intermittently hosted greyhound racing. As of 2021, it is closed and dilapidated after several fires.
The World Championship is an annual competition started in 1955 for BriSCA Formula 1 Stock Cars. It is the premier championship of the formula and the winner is granted the honour of racing with a gold roof and wing until the next World Final, and if desired they can race under number 1.

Gordon Moodie is the most prolific major title holder in the 60 year history of the sport. To date he has won 71 Championships including 3 World Finals and the National Points Championship/National Series 13 times. He also holds the record of having won 480 feature final wins.
Barry Goldin is a BriSCA Formula 2 Stock Cars racing driver from Bolton, Greater Manchester who races under number 401. Goldin is one of a select group of drivers who has won the National Points Championship on three occasions. In 2012, Barry married fellow racer and BTCC Grid Girl Jo Polley, although the pair announced their separation in September 2014.

King's Lynn Stadium, also known as the Adrian Flux Arena and previously as the Norfolk Arena, is a short oval stadium situated to the south of King's Lynn on Saddlebow Road in Norfolk County, England. It currently hosts BriSCA Formula 1 Stock Car Racing, Banger racing, motorcycle speedway and is also a former greyhound racing track.
Ben Barnicoat is a British racing driver who currently serves as a McLaren factory racing driver, while also competing in the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship for Project 1 Motorsport. He has previously raced in the 2020 FIA Formula 3 Championship, and was a part of the McLaren young driver programme from 2010 to 2015.
