Paul Knight (born 30 April 1959) is a Welsh former rugby union international.

Knight, born in Trealaw, was a tighthead prop who played for Aberavon, Pontypridd and Treorchy. In 1982, he was in the West of Wales team that faced Australia at Stradey Park. [1] He gained five Wales caps during his career, starting with two Test appearances on Wales' 1990 Namibia tour, then was capped in a match against the Barbarians later that year. In the 1991 Five Nations, he played in the first two matches, before losing his place to Neath prop John Davies. [2]

While with Treorchy in 1995, Knight was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, forcing him to retire from the sport. He uses a wheelchair and lives in an adapted home with wife Jennifer. [3] His story was documented in a biography titled The Paul Knight Story in 2023. [4]

Thomas Patrick David is a Welsh former dual-code international rugby union and rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s. He played representative rugby union (RU) for Wales and the British Lions and rugby league (RL) for Wales. He was selected for the 1974 British Lions tour to South Africa, and at the time played club rugby for Llanelli RFC. He also played for his home-town club Pontypridd RFC, and while at the club was part of the 1976 Grand Slam winning Wales team. Lee Jarvis is a former international Welsh rugby union player who was known as a top points scorer with the boot. His career has been spent in both Wales and England including top level rugby in Wales and in the Celtic League, winning a number of trophies in both countries. He has represented Wales from school level to full international honours as well as being selected by the Barbarians. Despite being tipped as the "next best thing" during his early career and being a great points kicker Jarvis only earned one cap for Wales at full international level. After retiring from rugby union as a player, Jarvis took up coaching. He is currently head coach at Rhydyfelin RFC.

Lyn Jones is a former Wales international rugby union player. Originally playing as a flanker, Jones subsequently became a coach. He played most of his playing career for Neath RFC and started his coaching career at the same club. Jones has coached professional clubs in Wales and England and, in 2018, became head coach of the Russian national rugby union team. He subsequently beame a coach with national rugby team of the Netherlands.

Peter Sidoli is a Welsh former rugby union player who played as a lock. Born in Merthyr Tydfil, he played for Neath, Merthyr and Ebbw Vale, before joining the Newport Gwent Dragons regional side as part of their inaugural squad in 2003.

Morgan Lloyd Stoddart is a former Wales international rugby union player. His usual position was fullback or wing.

Jon Thiel is a Canadian former rugby union footballer who played as a prop.

Ernest Raymond "Roy" John was a Wales and British Lions international rugby union lock. He played club rugby for Crynant and Neath. John was capped 19 times for Wales and was a member of two Grand Slam winning teams. In 1950 he was selected for the 1950 British Lions tour to New Zealand and Australia. John was an agile runner for a lock, but was most notable for his excellent ability in line-outs.

Mark Lewis was a Welsh international rugby union wing who played club rugby for Treorchy and Llwynypia and international rugby for Wales.

David "Dai" Morgan Jenkins was a Welsh dual-code international rugby union, and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s and 1930s. Ambrose Baker was a dual-code international rugby player who played rugby union for Neath and rugby league with Oldham, as a forward, during the era of contested scrums. He won five caps for Wales under the rugby union code and then represented his country at rugby league in two matches between 1925 and 1928, and Other Nationalities in 1924.

Christopher Jeffrey Bridges is a Welsh former rugby union international.
