Paul Michael Stewart FMedSci FRCP (born 6 July 1959) is Dean of Medicine and Health at the University of Leeds and an Honorary Consultant Endocrinologist at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. [1] He is also currently Vice President of the Academy of Medical Sciences [2] and the editor-in-chief of The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism. [3]

Stewart is the primary investigator for the National Institute for Health Research Musculoskeletal Biomedical Research Unit in Leeds, and specialises in the role of hormones in human aging, obesity and reproductive medicine. [1] He is also a National Institute for Health Research Senior Clinical Investigator, and leads a group researching a class of steroid hormones known as corticosteriods and their role in human disease. [1] He is an elected fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the Academy of Medical Sciences. [4] [5]

He delivered the 1997 Goulstonian Lecture at the Royal College of Physicians.

George P. Chrousos is professor of Pediatrics and Endocrinology Emeritus and former chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at the Athens University Medical School, Greece. Earlier he was senior investigator, director of the Pediatric Endocrinology Section and Training Program, and chief of the Pediatric and Reproductive Endocrinology Branch of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), National Institutes of Health (NIH). He is also clinical professor of Pediatrics, Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University Medical School and distinguished visiting scientist, NICHD, NIH. Dr. Chrousos was the first general director of the Foundation of Biomedical Research of the Academy of Athens (2001–2002). He holds the UNESCO Chair on Adolescent Health Care, while he held the 2011 John Kluge Chair in Technology and Society, Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.

Sir John Stewart Savill, FRS, FMedSci is the Chief Executive of the Medical Research Council (MRC) in the UK and the Head of the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine and a Vice Principal of the University of Edinburgh.

Sir Gordon William Duff, is a British medical scientist and academic. He was Principal of St Hilda's College, Oxford, from 2014 to 2021. He was Lord Florey Professor of Molecular Medicine at the University of Sheffield from 1991 to 2014.

Sir Stephen Robert Bloom FRS is a British Professor of Medicine at Imperial College London where he leads the Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism division.

Edward Thomas Bullmore, is a British neuropsychiatrist, neuroscientist and academic. Since 1999, he has been Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge; he has been Head of the Department of Psychiatry between 2014 and 2021.
