Paul Thomas Ott is a retired brigadier general in the National Guard of the United States and former commander of the 32nd Infantry Division of the Wisconsin Army National Guard.

Biography

Ott obtained an A.A. from the Wausau Technical Institute and a B.A. from Lakeland College. As a civilian Ott owns a construction and property management company in Wausau, Wisconsin. [1]

Career

Ott was commissioned a second lieutenant on July 18, 1965. He was promoted to brigadier general on October 6, 1995. Ott's retirement was effective as of October 31, 1998.

Awards he has received include the Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal with silver oak leaf cluster, the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal with silver oak leaf cluster, the National Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal with silver hourglass device, the Army Service Ribbon, and the Army Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon with award numeral 3.
