Pavlos Tzanavaras is a Greek long-distance and trail runner. He was born in 1969 in Athikia, Corinth where he still resides.

He holds the Panhellenic record in 10.000 meters for the M45 age category, with a time of 1:15:33 achieved in 2014 at Bucharest, Romania. [2] In 2008 in Belgrade, he was placed 2nd at the Balkan Marathon Road Championship with a time of 2:41:02. [3] He was also placed 3rd with a time of 1:06:09, on the first Panhellenic Trailroad Championship, organised by SEGAS in 2011 on the slopes of Parnitha.

He was competing for Panathinaikos until 2021.

Alki Oroklini Cypriot football club

Alki Oroklini is a Cypriot football club based in Oroklini. The team was founded as Omonia Oroklinis in 1979. Omonia had one participation in the Fourth Division. In 2014 the team changed their name to Alki Oroklini, when business man Andy Loppas, who became the president of the team, renamed it to Alki as his favorite team was Alki Larnaca FC which was dissolved that year, due to financial problems. Alki managed the outstanding 3 promotions in 3 years from the fourth division to cypriot first division, the highest tier in Cyprus.

The 1928–29 Panhellenic Championship was not held due to serious financial problems, as the organization of friendly matches between the POK members had led the HFF to economic and competitive decline. The return of the members of POK to the HFF in July 1928 and the desire of both sides to hold the championship did not succeed, as the championships of Athens, Piraeus and Macedonia were held, in which Panathinaikos and Olympiacos alongside Ethnikos Piraeus and Aris finished first respectively, but there was a significant delay in their completion, as a result of which the Panhellenic championship was not held, since the summer had already arrived and there was a strong fear of another financial failure.
