Ian Hunter (singer) Musical artist

Ian Hunter is the stage name of Ian Hunter Patterson, an English singer-songwriter and musician who is best known as the lead singer of the English rock band Mott the Hoople, from its inception in 1969 to its dissolution in 1974, and at the time of its 2009, 2013, and 2019 reunions. Hunter was a musician and songwriter before joining Mott the Hoople, and continued in this vein after he left the band. The nominations were revealed via a virtual livestream on November 23, 2021. South African comedian Trevor Noah, who hosted the previous ceremony on March 14, 2021, will return as host. The ceremony's location will mark the first time the Recording Academy switched host cities for a single ceremony.
