Pedro Henrique Cardoso de Lima (born 1 July 2006), known as Pedro Lima, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Born in Cabedelo, Paraíba, Lima began his career with a local side called EC Meninos da Paraíba, before joining Sport Recife's youth sides at the age of 15. [1] On 12 September 2023, he renewed his contract with the club until 2026. [2]
Promoted to the first team for the 2024 season, Lima made his senior debut on 29 January of that year, starting in a 2–0 Campeonato Pernambucano home win over Afogados. [3] He scored his first professional goal three days later, netting his team's third in a 3–0 away win over Flamengo de Arcoverde. [4]
On 25 February 2024, after establishing himself as a first choice, Lima further extended his link with the Leão until 2027. [5]
On 17 June 2024, Sport Recife announced that the club had reached an agreement with English side Wolverhampton Wanderers for the signing of Lima on a permanent transfer, subject to medical tests and international clearance. [6] [7] On 2 July, Wolves announced the official signing of Lima on a five-year deal, with an option for another season. [8] [9] On July 15, 2024, Pedro Lima debuted for Wolverhampton. He started as a starter in Wolverhampton's first pre-season friendly against Como 1907, in Marbella, Spain. [10]
On 11 October 2023, Lima was called up to the Brazil national under-17 team for the year's FIFA U-17 World Cup. [11] He featured in all five matches of the nation during the competition, as they were knocked out by Argentina.

Sport Club do Recife, commonly known as Sport Recife or simply Sport, is a Brazilian sports club, located in the city of Recife, in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco. Founded in 1905, the club competes in Série A. In football, the club has won six CBD/CBF titles, including three national and three regional. Its greatest achievements are winning the 1987 Brazilian Championship and 2008 Copa do Brasil. In addition to professional football, the club also participates in women's football and Olympic sports, such as rowing, swimming, hockey, basketball, futsal, volleyball, table tennis, taekwondo, judo and athletics. Their historical rival is Náutico, and they both dispute the Clássico dos Clássicos.
