Peggy A. Pendleton (born February 9, 1946) is an American politician and registered nurse from Maine. [1] A Democrat, Pendleton served a total of 9 terms (18 years) in the Maine Legislature. She served from 1988 to 1994 and 2006 to 2010 in the Maine House of Representatives representing part of Scarborough, Maine. From 1996 to 2004, Pendleton represented part of Cumberland County, including Scarborough, in the Maine Senate. [2]

Education

Pendleton studied at the University of Southern Maine and Eastern Maine Medical Center School of Nursing. Pendleton is a retired nurse. She also taught at Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute from 1980 to 1988. [2]

Rebecca J. Millett is an American politician from Maine. Millett is a Democratic State Senator from Maine's 29th District, representing South Portland, Cape Elizabeth and part of Scarborough. From 2004 to 2010, Millett served on the Cape Elizabeth School Board. She won a primary for Senate 29 over South Portland Representative Bryan Kaenrath in June 2012 and was first elected to the Maine State Senate the following November after defeating Republican Mike Wallace. The seat was held by Larry Bliss until his mid-term resignation in 2011. He was replaced by Cape Elizabeth resident and State Representative Cynthia Dill, who in turn decided not to seek a full term and instead to pursue the open seat in the United States Senate.

Margaret "Peggy" R. Rotundo is an American politician from Maine. Rotundo served as a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 74, which included part of Lewiston, from 2008 until 2016. From 2000 to 2008, she represented Lewiston in the Maine Senate. In 2006 she was named Senate Chair of the Maine Joint Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs. Supporters have regularly praised Rotundo for her commitment to bipartisanship and her advocacy for Maine people, particularly veterans, children, the elderly, immigrants and working mothers. In February 2016, Rotundo announced she would not run for Maine Senate. She was unable to seek re-election to the Maine House of Representatives due to term-limits.

She was a pro bono In-House Volunteer Attorney at Pine Tree Legal Assistance for eight years before running for Maine House of Representatives District 30 in 2018. In 2020, Carney was elected to her first term in the Maine Senate.

Donna Bailey is an American politician and attorney from Maine. A Democrat, she serves in the Maine Senate representing District 31, which includes her residence in Saco, as well as the towns of Old Orchard Beach, Hollis, Limington and part of Buxton. Bailey grew up in Berlin, New Hampshire, and attended Berlin High School, Bates College and the University of Maine School of Law. She worked in real estate law, family law and probate law in private practice and was first elected to the Maine House of Representatives in 2016. In 2020, Bailey was elected to her first term in the Maine Senate.

Sophia B. Warren is an American politician serving as a member of the Maine House of Representatives from the 29th district. She assumed office on December 2, 2020.

Valli D. Geiger is an American politician and nurse serving as a member of the Maine House of Representatives from the 93rd district. Elected in November 2020, she assumed office on December 2, 2020.
