Ruprekha Banerjee is an Indian musician. She was one of the three finalists of Fame Gurukul, a popular television show in India, along with Rex D'Souza and Qazi Touqeer. On 20 October 2005, she won the top prize along with Touqeer.

"Chammak Challo" is a song performed by Akon and Hamsika Iyer, and composed by Akon, Giorgio Tuinfort as well as music director duo Vishal–Shekhar and by Gobind Singh, as a part of the soundtrack for the 2011 Bollywood film Ra.One. It is Akon's first musical collaboration with Indian artists. There are four other versions of the song in the album, including a remix by Abhijit Vaghani, another remix by DJ Khushi and an international version sung solely by Akon. The song, along with the rest of the soundtrack, was officially released on 21 September 2011. However, the song faced controversy when the rough version was leaked on the Internet on 31 May 2011.
Ra.One is the soundtrack album composed by the duo Vishal–Shekhar, to the 2011 Indian superhero film of the same name, written and directed by Anubhav Sinha, and starring Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Armaan Verma and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles. The song was the first single to be released digitally from the soundtrack of the 2013 film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. The digital release was on 12 October 2013 in India. The music video was released on 9 October and launched on radio on 16 October.

Anjaana Anjaani is the soundtrack album to the 2010 film of the same name directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. The album featured nine songs composed by the duo Vishal–Shekhar with lyrics written by Neelesh Misra, Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Anvita Dutt Guptan, Kumaar, Kausar Munir and Irshad Kamil. The album was released on 27 August 2010 by T-Series. The album received high critical acclaim for its variety in genres and cited as the one of the best works from the duo, and they further received a nomination at the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for their work in the album.
