Loyola College, Chennai is a private Catholic higher education institution run by the Chennai Province of the Society of Jesus in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The Government of India awarded him the third highest civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan, in 1972, for his contributions to medicine.
