Robin Miriam Carlsson, known as Robyn, is a Swedish singer, songwriter, record producer and DJ. She arrived on the music scene with her 1995 debut album, Robyn Is Here, which produced two US Billboard Hot 100 top-10 singles: "Do You Know " and "Show Me Love". Her second and third albums, My Truth (1999) and Don't Stop the Music (2002), were released in Sweden.
Vanessa Struhler, better known as Vanessa S., is a German singer and songwriter who came to fame as a finalist of the first season of the television show Deutschland sucht den SuperStar, the German version of Pop Idol.
Robyn Is Here is the debut studio album by Swedish singer Robyn. It was released on 13 October 1995 by Ricochet Records, Ariola Records and BMG. The album peaked at number eight on the Swedish chart and was certified double platinum by the Swedish Recording Industry Association (GLF). In the United States, the album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and had sold more than 922,000 copies by June 2010, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Worldwide, the album has sold over 1.5 million copies.
My Truth, the second studio album by the Swedish singer Robyn, was released on 17 May 1999 by BMG Sweden. Robyn collaborated with the producers Lindström & Ekhé, Christian Falk, Billy Mann, Thomas Rusiak and Masters at Work on the album. A pop, R&B and soul record, My Truth is an autobiographical album for which Robyn co-wrote all fourteen songs. Some of its lyrics reflect on the singer's fall 1998 abortion, which became controversial when RCA Records began planning a North American release. When Robyn refused to change the album after the label's request, plans to release My Truth outside Sweden were cancelled.

"Dancing on My Own" is a midtempo dance-pop and electropop ballad sung by Swedish singer Robyn, co-written and co-produced by Robyn and Patrik Berger. The lead single from her Body Talk series, a stark album version, layered radio version and acoustic piano ballad version were released with the latter especially being covered by numerous artists of various genres globally. Inspired by situations she observed during her previous tour, clubbing in Stockholm, her favorite "inherently sad gay disco anthems" and allegedly her own breakup, it depicts a female protagonist who's dancing on her own in a club while watching her ex-boyfriend with another woman. The music video shows some of this scenario with Robyn on the outskirts of a packed club and cutscenes of her moving through the crowd.

It was released in the United States on 21 June 2011 with a slightly altered track listing, Robyn replacing Maipei as the featured artist on "Cardiac Arrest", and B.o.B replacing Desmond Forster on "Get Mama a House".

The album is the second part of the Body Talk trilogy, which consists of three mini-albums, all released during 2010. Robyn started working on songs for the album when Body Talk Pt. 1 (2010) was still in development, and she collaborated with Klas Åhlund, Kleerup, Savage Skulls, Diplo, Snoop Dogg and Niggaracci. Musically, the songs on Body Talk Pt. 2 are upbeat and a mixture between electro, house, hip hop and disco.

Body Talk is the seventh studio album by Swedish recording artist Robyn. It was released on 22 November 2010, by Konichiwa Records. Robyn first announced in early 2010 that she would release three mini-albums throughout the course of 2010, however, it was later announced that a full-length album would be released instead of a third mini-album. The first two mini-albums of what was dubbed the Body Talk series, Body Talk Pt. 1 and Body Talk Pt. 2, were released in June and September 2010. While being a separate studio album in its own right, the full-length release also serves as a compilation album, containing the "best songs" from the first two entries in the Body Talk series, as well as five new songs. The five new songs were also available separately as an extended play released the same day, titled Body Talk Pt. 3, in certain territories. The four songs and two acoustic versions from the project that were excluded from the original track listing were later included on the German iTunes and 2019 Record Store Day vinyl versions of the album.
Tove Anna Linnéa Östman Styrke is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She gained popularity as a contestant on Swedish Idol 2009, finishing in third place. After the show, she started a solo career in electropop. She released her debut album Tove Styrke in 2010. The New York Post included Styrke in its list of "10 Artists to Know in 2011". In 2015, she released her second album, Kiddo. Three years later, in 2018, she released her third album, Sway. Throughout the 2010s Styrke gained an increasing critical acclaim as an independent artist resulting in her single "Say My Name" being included in Rolling Stone's 100 best songs of the decade.

The initial writing and production of the song arose from a discussion by Robyn, Diplo and Åhlund about Ace of Base. The song features a dancehall and reggae-infused sound with 1980s synths and subwoofers. It was released as a promotional single before the album was launched in April 2010.
"Never Will Be Mine" is a song by rapper Rye Rye featuring Swedish singer Robyn. Released in 2011 the song serves as the second single from her debut album Go! Pop! Bang!, appearing on the deluxe edition, whilst the R3hab remix appears on the standard edition. The song samples the chorus of Robyn's previous hit single Be Mine!. Its release on N.E.E.T. Honey is the eighth studio album by Swedish singer Robyn, and her first since Body Talk (2010). It was released on 26 October 2018 through Konichiwa, Island Records and Interscope Records. It features the singles "Missing U", "Honey", "Ever Again", "Beach 2k20", and "Baby Forgive Me". The song "Send to Robin Immediately" also served as part of the promotional campaign for the singer's clothing line collaboration with Björn Borg.
