Sápmi is the cultural region traditionally inhabited by the Sámi people. Sápmi includes the northern parts of Fennoscandia,also known as the "Cap of the North".
Jönköping County is a county or län in southern Sweden. It borders the counties of Halland,Västra Götaland,Östergötland,Kalmar and Kronoberg. The total county population was 356,291 inhabitants in September 2017. The capital and largest city is Jönköping. About one quarter of the total county population lives in the combined Jönköping-Huskvarna urban area around the southern point of Lake Vättern.

This level of administrative unit was first established in the 1634 Instrument of Government on Lord Chancellor Count Axel Oxenstierna's initiative,and superseded the landskap,in order to introduce a more efficient administration of the realm. At that time,they were what the translation of län into English literally means:fiefdoms. The county borders often follow the provincial borders,but the Crown often chose to make slight relocations to suit its purposes.
This is a list of governors for Stockholm County of Sweden. Stockholm County separated from Uppland County,the first time from 1641 to 1654,and then finally in 1719. The City of Stockholm was separately governed by the Governor of Stockholm until 1967,when it was integrated into Stockholm County. The governors reside in Tessin Palace.

The Norrbotten Regiment,designation I 19,is a Swedish Army arctic armoured,light infantry and commando regiment that traces its origins back to the 19th century. The regiment's soldiers were originally recruited from the province of Norrbotten,and it is currently garrisoned in Boden,Norrbotten. The regiment has the responsibility for training two armoured and one special recon battalion,as well as number of Arctic light infantry battalions from the home guard as well as running the army's winter unit.

Chris Heister is a Swedish Moderate Party politician and former Leader of the Opposition on Stockholm County Council. She was elected to the Riksdag in 1991 and served until 2002. 1999–2003 she was deputy chairman of the party. In 2002,she chose to step down from the Riksdag to pursue a career in Stockholm's local politics. Having experience as a health spokesman in the Rikdag,she is very active on health issues - the main function of Stockholm County Council.

The Norrland Signal Battalion,designated Signbat/I 19,originally Norrland Signal Corps,designated S 3,was a Swedish Army signal unit,one of the few new formations raised in the 20th century. It was disbanded in 2005. The unit was garrisoned in Norrbotten.
