Per Olof Holknekt, (born 27 April 1960) is a Swedish fashion designer and entrepreneur. [1] He is also the founder of several magazines and companies, the most successful of which is the clothing company Odd Molly. [2]
Holknekt grew up in Falun, Dalarna. His father was a police officer and his mother was a school principal. He moved to Hermosa Beach, California, in 1980, and for several years was a professional skateboarder, winning several international competitions. [3] [4] In 1984, while in California, he founded the skateboarding magazine Transworld Skateboarding . He returned to Sweden in 1984 and studied economics at IHM Business School, after which he started the skateboard company Street Style with his brother Thomas. [5] Later, he founded another skateboard company, Svea, which launched a skateboard brand and a clothing label. [6] [7]
Holknekt developed alcoholism, and went through a life crisis in 2000, during which he lost everything, became homeless, and supported himself by selling the Stockholm street newspaper Situation Sthlm . [8] He sought treatment for his addiction and regained sobriety. [9] After four months of being sober he successfully applied to become a housemate on the first season of the Swedish Big Brother series, in which he finished in second place after being voted off in the final on Day 74. [10] The show was broadcast on Kanal 5. [11]
In 2002, Holknekt started working with fashion designer Karin Jimfelt-Ghatan, and together they started the international clothing company Odd Molly. [6] [12] In 2010 the two were named "Founders of the Year" at Sweden's annual entrepreneurial gala Entreprenörsgalan. [13] [14] In 2013 Holknekt revealed that he would leave Odd Molly after twelve years to start working as a branding consultant for different brands. [15]
On 19 June 2012, the first edition of Holknekt's magazine Miss World was published. [16] He was the chief editor, but only two issues were published before it was discontinued. [17]
Holknekt was one of the hosts of the Sveriges Radio show Sommar in 2010. [18] In 2014 Holknekt published his autobiography, Per Holknekt 1960–2014, co-written by Markus Lutteman. [19] [20]
Holknekt is also a successful pinball player, and has participated in national, European, and world championships hosted by the Professional Amateur Pinball Association. [21] [22] [23]
In 2016, Holknekt was arrested and fined for drunk driving and speeding on his motorboat by the Coast Guard. He was fined 30,000 SEK [24]
Holknekt was married to an American woman for three years during his time in California. [25] After returning to Sweden he became involved with a woman with whom he had a daughter in the 1990s. In 2000, during his participation in Big Brother, he met singer Viktoria Tolstoy, and the couple were married in 2001. They divorced in March 2008. [26] He later married singer Lena Philipsson in 2010, but they were divorced in July 2013. [25] [27] In June 2015, Holknekt announced he had once again fallen in love, this time with 36-year-old fashion photographer Anna Lundell. [28]

Per Axel Ahlmark was a Swedish politician and writer. He was the leader of the Liberal People's Party from 1975 to 1978, and Minister for Employment and Deputy Prime Minister in the Swedish government from 1976 to 1978. He also served as a member of the Swedish parliament from 1967 to 1978.

The remains of Swedish victim of murder Catrine da Costa were found in Solna, north of Stockholm, in 1984. Da Costa had been dismembered, and parts of her body were found in plastic bags on 18 July and 7 August. The case is known as styckmordsrättegången. How da Costa died has not been established as her vital organs and head have never been found.

Starting off his professional career with IF Elfsborg in 2006, he went on to represent FC Twente, AS Monaco, and Panathinaikos before retiring at Elfsborg in 2018. Musikhjälpen is the Swedish version of the Dutch Serious Request radio and television campaign. The annual show is an appeal for money which each year helps a certain cause. Three radio/television personalities are locked inside a glass house for 144 hours, and they broadcast live on Swedish public service radio network Sveriges Radio and on public services television through SVT. People send text messages requesting a song, with each text costing 50, 100, 200, or 500 Swedish kronor. In later years, a Musikhjälpen-app has been used for requesting songs as well.
Mariette Hansson, sometimes credited as MaryJet or simply Mariette, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. Hansson participated in Sikta mot stjärnorna in 1999 imitating singer Amanda Marshall. She participated in Idol 2009 which was broadcast on TV4 and finished fourth. A year later, Hansson was announced as "homo of the year" at the QX Gaygala in Stockholm.

His various television projects include the documentary Absolut svensk where he examines ethnic identity and every day racism in Sweden. This is also the title of his book released in 2017.

Lotta Mari Johansen Lundgren née Bergqvist is a Swedish television presenter and food writer. Lundgren was born and raised in Tuve, a Gothenburg suburb. Lundgren has written a cook book. She has hosted the shows Landet Brunsås and currently Historieätarna along with Erik Haag both on SVT. In 2015, the duo presented Tusen år till julafton a Christmas calendar which was broadcast on SVT. The same production team is also behind Bye bye Sverige about the Swedish-American emigration 1850–1910 which premiered on Swedish Television on 7 December 2017. In 2020, Lotta and Erik Haag participated in Filip and Fredrik's Alla mot alla, where they won the final against Gry Forssell and Mikael Tornving. The team also won the season the following year by Alla mot alla.
