Per Wind, born Per Wind Andersen (born 15 August 1955), is a Danish former professional footballer who played 590 games as a goalkeeper for Boldklubben Frem.

Playing career

Wind made his debut for Boldklubben Frem in 1973, and spent his entire 20-year-long senior career with the club, before retiring in 1993.

Later career

Wind and Finn Bøje became managers of Frem in 1993, and he went on to coach a number of amateur teams. He was hired as Frem's goalkeeping coach in 1997, and he made a one-match come-back for the club in 1998. He also worked for Carlsberg Group for 23 years.

In 1999, he was employed as goalkeeping coach at F.C. Copenhagen on a full-time basis.

Personal life

Per Wind is the father of F.C. Copenhagen and Wolfsburg striker Jonas Wind.

Boldklubben Frem is a Danish sports club based in the Valby-Sydhavnen area of Copenhagen. It is best known for its semi-professional football team. Since its foundation in 1886, Frem has won the Danish Championships six times and the Danish Cup twice. Until the disastrous bankruptcy in 1993, Frem had played in the top division all but six seasons. After the bankruptcy the club fought its way back to the top of Danish football, but in 2010 it went bankrupt again and was demoted to the Copenhagen Series—the fifth tier in the Danish league system. After two back to back promotions, the club now participates in the Danish 2nd Division, the third tier.

Søren Colding is a Danish former professional football player, who most prominently captained Danish club Brøndby IF and VfL Bochum in Germany from his position of right-back. He represented the Denmark national football team in 27 matches, and he was a participant at the 1998 FIFA World Cup and 2000 European Championship tournaments.

Etvin Carl Pauli Jørgensen, known simply as Pauli Jørgensen, was a Danish amateur football player and manager. In his position of centre forward, Jørgensen played 297 matches and scored 288 goals for Boldklubben Frem. He won four Danish championships with Frem as a player, and coached the team to a fifth title. He played 47 international matches and scored 44 goals for the Denmark national team, making him the most capped Danish player for 22 years following his retirement. Furthermore, Jørgensen played around 75 matches for the Copenhagen representative team Stævnet.

Torben Frank is a Danish former footballer, who played in the striker role. He most successfully played for Danish clubs Lyngby Boldklub and Brøndby IF, and won four Danish championships. In addition, Frank received 5 international caps for the Denmark national football team and was a part of the Danish team that won the 1992 European Championship.

Kaj Frederik Christiansen was a Danish football player and manager. He began his career as an amateur player for BK Frem, winning the 1944 Danish Championship. He played professionally for French clubs Stade Français, Le Havre AC, Olympique Lyonnais, and Grenoble Foot 38, winning the 1954 French Division 2 with Olympique Lyonnais. Kaj Christiansen scored six goals in five matches for the Denmark national football team between 1943 and 1948. He was named 1943 Danish Sports Talent of the Year. As a manager, he was named 1964 Manager of the Year in France, and won the 1967 Danish Cup with Randers Freja.

Johannes Theodor Louis Pløger, commonly known as Johannes Pløger, was a Danish professional footballer, who most notably played professionally as a winger for Italian clubs Juventus and Udinese. John Angelo Valdemar Østergaard Hansen, known simply as John Hansen, was a Danish footballer who played as a forward. Christensen spent his entire club career with Boldklubben Frem, with whom he won the Danish championship in 1941 and 1944. Christensen was described as one of the greatest Danish football talents of all time, and was a well-balanced player who possessed a fine overview and performed delicate passes.

Prince Nana Takyi is a Danish-Ghanaian former football player in the striker position. He played for Akademisk Boldklub in the Danish Superliga championship, and played professionally for a number of Danish clubs in the Danish 1st Division, and was named 2008 Best African Footballer in Denmark. He ended his career in February 2010 due to injuries. Nana received a Danish citizenship in February 2008.

Carl Vilhelm "Skoma'r" Hansen, simply known as Carl "Skoma'r", was a Danish association football player and coach. He played in the forward position, and won the Danish championship with Boldklubben 1903 before moving abroad to play for Scottish club Rangers F.C. as the first professional player in Danish football history. With Rangers, he won four Scottish championships. Hansen played seven games and scored three goals for the Denmark national football team, and was a part of the Denmark team at the 1920 Summer Olympics. As a coach, he managed a number of Danish teams and won the Danish championship with AB.
