Futboll Klub Partizani, or FK Partizani for short, is an Albanian professional football club based in Tirana, that competes in the Kategoria Superiore. Founded in 1946, the club was historically affiliated to the Albanian army. Partizani's home ground is the newly built stadium at Partizani Complex. The club also uses Arena Kombëtare also known as Air Albania stadium for matches in European competitions and major domestic football derbies in Albania.
Football Club Dinamo City, commonly referred to as Dinamo City and colloquially known as Dinamo, is an Albanian professional football club based in Tirana. They play in the Kategoria Superiore, the first tier of Albanian football, in the 2023–24 season. Founded in 1950 during the communist regime, the club was historically affiliated to the Interior Ministry and having won 18 National Championships, it is considered to be the second most decorated club after local rivals KF Tirana.
Panajot Thoma Pano was an Albanian football player. He started his career as a goalkeeper in the 17 Nëntori Tirana youth academy, but later became the most prolific centre-forward of their arch-rivals, Partizani Tirana. During his eighteen-year career he played 24 matches as part of the Albania national team and was awarded the Albanian UEFA Jubilee Award.
Edvin Murati is an Albanian former professional footballer. He played for Panserraikos FC and Iraklis F.C. in Greece. He played also in France, Germany, and for the Albania national football team. In December 2018 he was honoured for his services to Albanian football, alongside Perlat Musta and Qamil Teliti.
Sokol Kushta is an Albanian retired football player, who was arguably one of his country's best players in the second half of the 1980s and the beginning of the 1990s and one of the first to be allowed by the communist party to play abroad.

Agim Hysen Murati was an Albanian international football striker. During his career, Murati was recognised for "his ability to head the ball in the penalty area".
The 1991–92 season was FC Dinamo București's 43rd season in Divizia A. The year 1992 brings the 14th Divizia A title in history. Dinamo dominated the season from start to finish and ended without a single loss. The newcomers Gábor Gerstenmájer and Albanian Sulejman Demollari made an instant impact, scoring together 39 goals in league only. The technical staff was formed from Florin Halagian – head coach, Viorel Hizo and Florin Cheran – assistants, and Dutch Rinus Israel – technical director.
Safet Berisha was an Albanian football player who played for Lokomotiva Durrës and Partizani Tirana as well as the Albania national team, where he earned 20 senior caps.
Xhevdet Shaqiri was an Albanian football player and coach.
