Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Puncak Jaya (simply known as Persipuja) is an Indonesian football club based in Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua. They currently compete in Liga 4 Central Papua. [1]

History

Persipuja's membership was once removed as a participant in the 2011 PSSI Congress, the other clubs were Persikab Bandung, Persigo Gorontalo, PSPS Pekanbaru, Perseba Bangkalan, and Gresik Putra. The chaos in the implementation of the 2011 PSSI Congress to elect the Election Committee and Appeal Committee began before the session began, on Saturday, 26 March 2011 evening, when participants forced their way into and broke down the door to the session room.
