Jalan Ampang or Ampang Road is a major road in the Klang Valley region, Selangor and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Built in the 1880s, it is one of the oldest roads in the Klang Valley. It is a main road to Ampang Jaya and is easily accessible from Jalan Tun Razak or Jalan Ulu Klang from the Hulu Kelang or Setapak direction. The Malaysian Expressway System is a network of national controlled-access expressways in Malaysia that forms the primary backbone network of Malaysian national highways. The network begins with the Tanjung Malim–Slim River tolled road which was opened to traffic on 16 March 1966, later North–South Expressway (NSE), and is being substantially developed. Malaysian toll road-expressways are built by private companies under the supervision of the government highway authority, Malaysian Highway Authority. While toll-free expressways are built by Malaysian Public Works Department or Jabatan Kerja Raya Malaysia (JKR) in Malay.

The Petaling Jaya Dispersal Link Expressway (PDLE) (formerlyKinrara–Damansara Expressway(KIDEX) or KIDEX Skyway) was a new expressway under planning in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The 14.9-kilometre (9.3 mi) expressway connects the Damansara–NKVE Interchange of the New Klang Valley Expressway in the north to Bandar Kinrara in the south. The new expressway was claimed to reduce travelling time between Damansara and Kinrara by about 25%, and reduce traffic volume by 5% in both directions from Puchong to Petaling Jaya. On 16 February 2015, after several protests by the local residents, the KIDEX Skyway project was cancelled by the Selangor State Government. On 2018, the project is revived as Petaling Jaya Dispersal Link Expressway. In 2023, the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) has opened an investigation into improper submission of Social Impact Assessment (SIA). In 2024, Government cancelled due to deadline.

BEP Akitek Sdn Bhd is an architectural firm based in Malaysia. Ralph Booty & Sidney James set up their practice in Singapore in 1910 and began the Booty Edwards & Partners firm on September 7, 1923. Ralph Booty had previously operated the firm Ralph Booty and Co. The new firm was first called Booty and Edwards.Arthur Oakley Coltman bought the firm in 1930. It was later called Booty, Edwards & Partners and the firm operated with offices in Colombo, Penang as well as Kuala Lumpur. In 1969 the firm was renamed BEP Akitek Sdn Bhd, the name it still carries. A major event in the firm's early history is when it won an architectural competition for the design of Colombo’s Town Hall and Municipal Offices, held in 1922. The Town Hall remains an imposing landmark in Colombo city. On May 24, 1924, the foundation stone was laid to build this magnificent building to house the Municipal Council of the country's principal city.
