Pete Barnacle is an English rock drummer who has played for various bands including Gillan, [1] Girl, [2] Broken Home, [3] Spear of Destiny, [4] Theatre of Hate, Yngwie Malmsteen (on the 1990 Eclipse World Tour), Sheer Greed, and Soldiers of Fortune. Barnacle now lives in Japan, teaching English, and occasionally working as a drummer.
Pete Barnacle was a member of Gillan in 1979 touring in Japan, then was part of Broken Home. He joined Girl in 1981, playing alongside Phil Collen. He played on Strange Cruise's self-titled debut album in 1986 before joining Spear Of Destiny in 1987, playing on three albums: Outland (1987), Price You Pay (1988) and SOD's Law in 1992. This band also toured in 1991 billed as Theatre Of Hate.
Since 2006, formed the band GoDoG together Sakate Sōtarō and Hashimoto Hiroyuk.

Pete was a member of Spear of Destiny from 1987 to 1989, recording two albums (Outlands and The Price You Pay) touring extensively in the UK and mainland Europe, and making numerous TV appearances. He returned with Theatre of Hate in 1991 for the Return to 8 Tour, and again in 1992 with Spear of Destiny after his stint with Yngwie Malmsteen, for a tour and the Sod's Law album.

Philip Kenneth Collen is an English musician who is best known as the co-lead guitarist for the rock band Def Leppard. Collen joined the band in 1982 during the recording of the Pyromania album. Unleash the Fury is the fifteenth studio album by guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, released on 26 July 2005 through Spitfire Records. Included on the album—which is an Enhanced CD—are three videos in QuickTime format. The album's title is a reference to an incident which occurred in 1988 on a flight to Tokyo during the Odyssey tour: having behaved obnoxiously whilst drunk, Malmsteen fell asleep and was later awoken by a woman pouring a jug of iced water on him. Enraged, he twice shouted "You've released the fucking fury!". The audio from this incident was caught on tape by drummer Anders Johansson, with bassist Barry Dunaway also being heard in the background.
Sheer Greed is the first album of the British glam rock band Girl, released in January 1980 by Jet Records. The album was published during the explosion of the new wave of British heavy metal phenomenon and its sales took advantage of the favourable attitude towards hard rock bands in the UK in that period. Sheer Greed peaked at No. 33 in the UK Albums Chart. Hollywood Tease was released as a single, and reached No. 50.
Wasted Youth is the second and final album released by the British glam rock band Girl. Bryson Graham replaced drummer Pete Barnacle during the recording of this album, and contributed to the songwriting process. A remastered CD was reissued by Rock Candy Records in 2016 complete with a bonus CD of a concert recorded in October 1981.
