Peter Bredsdorff-Larsen (born 11 August 1967) is as Danish handball coach and former player, whom currently is head coach for Faroe Islands men's national handball team.
As a player he played for Vejlby-Risskov Idrætsklub and IK Skovbakken. He managed to get a single national team match against Sweden in 1994, where he scored one goal. [1]
Peter Bredsdorff-Larsen started his training career as the assistant coach at Randers HK before moving on to the same position at AGF Håndbold in 2022.
Peter Bredsdorff-Larsens first head coach position came in 2003 at Vrold/Skanderborg, which at the time played in the 1st division. [2] In 2007 he got the team promoted to the top league in Denmark, Danish Men's Handball League.
While he was at Vrold/Skanderborg, he was appointed as the assistant coach on the Danish national team by newly appointed Head coach Ulrik Wilbek. His initial contract ran until the Olympics 2008 in Beijing, [3] but he would stay the assistant coach for Denmark men's national handball team for 10 years until 2015, first together with head coach Ulrik Wilbek [4] and later under head coach Gudmundur Gudmundsson. [5] With the Danish national team he won both the 2008 and 2012 European Men's Handball Championship.
While he was the assistant manager of the Danish national team, he was simultaneously appointed to be the head coach of the Danish Men's Handball League AAB Håndbold. [6] With Aab he won the league in 2010.
In 2011 he was appointed as the head coach of KIF Kolding. His tenure here however ended on a sour note, where the players lost trust in him. In an agreement with the club, the players of KIF Kolding agreed in 2013 to take a 5% wage cut in order to afford the compensation to fire Bredsdorff-Larsen. [7] He was replaced by Aron Kristjansson.
After his tenure at KIF Kolding he was appointed head coach of Bjerringbro-Silkeborg. He would stay at the club for 7 years and manage to win the Danish league once more in 2016. This was the first time Bjerringbro-Silkeborg won the league.
In 2021 he was appointed as the head coach of the Faroe Islands men's national handball team. He led the team to their first ever major international tournament; the 2024 European Men's Handball Championship.
In addition to handball coaches, he has also worked with education referees in Dansk Håndbold. In 2023 he was however dismissed after multiple clubs filed complaints about his neutrality due to his position on the board of the 1st division club Aarhus HC. [8] He was replaced by fellow Danish coach Jan Pytlick.

In 1997, she was named IHF World Player of the Year. She is widely regarded as one of the best female handball players of all time. She was admitted to the Danish Sports Hall of Fame in 2007.

He is the most successful Danish team handball coach ever, having won two European Men's Handball Championship and two European Women's Handball Championships, one IHF World Women's Handball Championship and one Olympic gold medal with the women.

Josephine Touray is a former Danish team handball player and Olympic champion of Gambian descent. She played mainly as a right wing. Over the course of her career she played 123 games for the Danish national team, where she scored 383 goals. She played for the clubs: Bjerringbro KFUM, Viborg HK, KIF Kolding, Ikast-Bording EH, FCK Håndbold, Frederiksberg IF and SK Aarhus, all in Denmark. She received a gold medal with the Danish national team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

Boris Schnuchel is a Danish former handballer, who played almost his entire career for Danish Handball League side KIF Kolding from 1997 to his retirement in 2014 and won 7 Danish Championships and 6 Danish Cups. Thise made him the most winning player in the Danish League history at the time of his retirement. When he retired he also had the club record for most matches with 588 matches for KIF Kolding. A record he held until the 2015/16 season, when he was passed by Bo Spellerberg.

This is a list of the 2010 European Men's Handball Championship squads. Each team had until 15 December 2009 to register 28 players. Of these 28 players, the national associations must choose 16 players at least one day before the tournament. After this a maximum of two players can be replaced with a player from the original 28. After the main round has started, yet another player can be replaced.

The club was founded in 1982 and was the result of a merger between Stilling-Skanderborg and Vrold-Skanderborg Handball Club. In 2021 Aarhus Håndbold merged with Skanderborg Håndbold's men's team, and they changed the name to Skanderborg Aarhus Håndbold.
