Peter Chee is a Malaysian executive coach, author, and President of ITD World, a coaching and talent development corporation. [1] He developed the Certified Chief Master Coach (CCMC) program [2] and the Certified Coaching and Mentoring Professional (CCMP) Program. Both are accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). [3]
Peter Chee was born and raised in Penang, Malaysia. In 2000, he earned an MSc in Training and HRM from the University of Leicester, UK, and in 2005, he received a doctoral degree from the University of South Australia. [4] Chee is a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, and holds a Certificate in Change Management and Performance Consulting from Pennsylvania State University. [5] [6]

In 2020, Chee coached Guy Rowse, the former Siemens Power Operations, Inc CEO. This coaching triggered the creation of the "Seven Patterns of S-Curve to Exponential Growth Innovation" model. The model emphasizes overcoming adversity, leveraging fear, active experimentation, and achieving breakthrough moments. [12] In September of the same year, he was a speaker at the Great Inside People Conference. Mentorship is the patronage, influence, guidance, or direction given by a mentor. A mentor is someone who teaches or gives help and advice to a less experienced and often younger person. In an organizational setting, a mentor influences the personal and professional growth of a mentee. Most traditional mentorships involve having senior employees mentor more junior employees, but mentors do not necessarily have to be more senior than the people they mentor. What matters is that mentors have experience that others can learn from.
